  4. by your use of the term "bloods" i am thinking you are in the UK? they will have not done all the tests, you may need to get them done privately.
  5. your one o'clock sleepiness is probably related to your lack of protein at breakfast.
  6. anyone with a hiatal hernia should elevate that HOB not just your head, ie not extra pillows. a brick or 2x4 under the legs at the head of the bed should do it.
  7. I recently got the results of stool testing and had a high amount of fecal fat, so I'm not absorbing fat correctly. My gallbladder, pancreas, and liver are all fine. I haven't had lactose in 3 years. Don't know if it's intestinal damage or what. I'm currently looking into this, too. It's such a slow process getting the appointment, doing the test, waiting...

  9. how long was he gluten free, when you tried it? it does take time to improve. the other obvious thought, was he really gluten free? big learning curve.

  13. yup, it would appear you haven't been gluten free. no eating out, no shared common food containers etc. yes a few bread crumbs, esp. on top of other exposure, can be enough to be a problem. good luck.

  15. do you take any acid reducing drugs? these will interfere with B12 absorbtion. D is not a dietary element so much, we are designed to obtain that from the sun. we supplement because either that is not working, or we don't get enough sun. good luck.
  16. Vitamin D3 is the way to go, take as much of that as your doc gave you a script for the D2. and get enough fat in you diet, with the D! it is a FAT soluble vitamin. I don't know any stats on tanning beds...

  18. i would suspect continued glutening. take the household gluten free, and see if that helps.

  22. smri, if pre existing conditions don't count, why was my insurance more because i had a lump in one breast, than if i didn't have that lump??
  23. she needs a completed celiac work up, and an immediate check for diabetes, IMMEDIATE. you may need to go to a bigger city/children's hospital, do not waste time.

  25. since it happened after school started, i would suspect contamination at school, purposeful, ie cheating, or accidental, ie art supplies, etc.
