  1. your reactions may be more delayed then the time span you have checked.
  2. I checked it out earlier, apparently it has been used in studies to treat the diar. of celiac, and is gluten free....
  3. oy, can we put him up for sainthood?
  4. oh my! how individual we are! one of two things I can't tolerate on an empty stomach is tea! lol
  5. if he has been that close to gluten free for any length of time, it could be a false neg. on the IgA testing, since he is very narrowly under.
  6. do your best not to get in a &%$^* contest over food. try to get her to buy into it. Explain at her level, that she needs the extra to grow appropriately. Have others commented? positive or neg? good luck
  7. how is your Vit D level?
  8. ....the FDA has codified how much rodent fecal matter is allowed in spices, and we are worried about this?
  9. I have not seen a celiac "panel" referred to as a "screen" before. maybe they only did the one test, it was negative, and it reflexed to no further testing?

  11. all the antibiotics in that class...
  12. 2 problems with shots long term= they are usually cyanocabolamin (sp) rather than the methyl- variety. and they are doctor driven, ie, need a script for them, and docs can be stingy with it. But short term, emergent, yup.
  13. hey doc, I was wondering recently, is Raynaud's centrally controlled? ie, breath in cold air, peripheral circ. shuts down? maybe we should ask Dr H if he sees it in his ataxia patients??
  14. Vit D, suggested 1000 IU for every unit of 10 you want to raise it....10000 is probably a little heavy, but shouldn't be problematic. Take that routinely, myself. you make that much with healthy skin exposure to the sun.
  15. frankly, you couldn't be sure it was safe even before the cereal box. Though I think that was a nasty slap in the face.
  16. At least with vit B12, it is a digestion issue, as we age, and apparently with interstinal/stomache/gallbladder issues, we don't break it out of food appropriately. but with the supplement, on an empty stomach, our intestines can absorb tiny amounts of if. Hence the large dose, 1000 mcg or more, for the 3 or so mcg absorbed
  17. ah! I will have to try it!
  18. do you take it with each fat containing meal?
  19. have you tried an antihistamine?
