    Yes. With the exception of malt vinegar, which will always be labeled as "malt vinegar," all vinegars are gluten-free.

    Yes, things can worsen over time, and yes, stress can escalate them. The stress can be physical due to illness, injury, childbirth or surgery; it can also be emotional due to a major change in life circumstances. Divorce, or loss of a job can also be triggers.

    Without getting into the details, the methods by which these foods are processed are such that cross-contamination is extremely unlikely. Food residue may be on the exterior of the animal, or in the digestive tract, but ample steps are taken to ensure that it stays there and does not get into the final product.

    Hi, and wecome to the board. Meat and eggs (and milk) are gluten-free regardless of what was fed to the animals from which they came. No worries there.

    We are still fine-tuning the changes to the moderation methods. All of us are in North America, so there there is a period when we tend to all be asleep. Posts made during that time may experience longer delays than usual before being approved.

    Dermatitis Herpetiformis is the skin form of celiac disease. It causes a rash that itches intensely. I doubt that a health care professional would confuse it with hives--they have a very different appearance. DH resembles eczema (which I had as a child).     Are you sure you're not a cat? We have one who seems to sleep more than 20 hours a day. Due to malabsorption, anemia and fatigue are common symptoms of celiac disease. Your case sounds more severe than average, but this is a disease that wears many disguises.

    There are two spots for a picture in your profile. The one that you have successully loaded is your personal photo. The one that appears in your posts is your avatar. When editing your profile, look under the "Change Photo" button for the one that says "Change Avatar." You can put the same image in both places, or have two different ones.

    It looks like a new member was created when you came in via FaceBook. I'm not sure how the FB link is supposed to work. It is new, and I have not tried it. This would be something for Scott (admin) to look into.

    I read your entire post, especially the topic title: Walmart Gv Frozen Veggies Now Contain Wheat! In that title you clearly claimed that they "Now Contain Wheat!" Since you are now retreating from that claim, I will retitle the topic to reflect what you are actually claiming.

    Foods sold in the United States must conform to US labeling rules, regardless of their origin.

    What, exactly, did the warning say? It is a bit much to state "now contain wheat" without knowing. "Processed in a facility which also processes wheat" and "contains wheat" are not the same thing.

    I am hardly the expert on Enterolab, but genetic testing can neither diagnose nor rule out celiac disease. It does offer some insight into the probablity, but nothing more.
