...been looking into the research on Cinnamom and blood sugar levels - [ADDING ON - Cinnamon is good ONLY for reducing blood sugar -see below ] FYI, for those who read my prevous post about cinnamon, I have since read that the oils in the natural form contain some toxic substances, and can be stored in fat tissue - although a small amount per day...

Just wanted to add...IF you go gluten-free, and still have lingering symptoms after 3 weeks or so, go dairy-free (except clarified butterr is OK)...I mention this because of your skin infections...BIG connection between dairy and skin infections. My 'adult acne' and residual tummy aches went away after taking out dairy, too - KEEP PUSHING THOSE DOCS...

NoGluGirl: Loved reading your post in this thread...I am 49 now, and spent WAY too much time trying to appease my parents- they are narcissistic, basically - father was an alcoholic/workaholic and mom is 'borderline personality,' agoraphobic-type...I just finally accepted that they will NEVER love anyone 'properly,' not each other, not me, not my five... -

Just to add-on, FYI - the shells are definitely good for a sweet pie...but, I'm not sure how they'd taste with quiche...but, I think they'd be good - different, but good...they are not flaky, though, like quiche crust would normally be, and they are a bit sweet, but not sickly sweet...SO, I would be sure to add some chopped green pepper and/or tomato or something... -

How true! One of my brothers has been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, and even went to a support group for it when he got terrible neurological symptoms...he now has a little boy with possible autism...and even HE won't get tested, nor will he get his boy tested...it is SO frustrating...Also, one of my sisters also told me she no longer wants... -

Their pie shells are very good - I make fruit pies with them. They come frozen in pairs of two: I buy 2 bags organic frozen blueberries, at Whole Foods, some strawberries - fresh or frozen - and 2 peaches to make two pies - Mix the blueberries, minus most of the juice in the bowl that you get with defrosting (mix that with syrup for pancakes), with... -

Found this, at: Open Original Shared Link There are other conditions besides celiac sprue that can cause flattened villi. However, if you detect flattened villi and then find a dramatic increase in the number of epithelial lymphocytes, then that is almost always related to celiac disease and nothing else. If you don't see a marked increase in epithelial... -
Hi - reading this thread made me want to tack on info about cinnamon and blood sugar. I like cinnamon A LOT, and so it was great to learn that only a small amount, added to sugar-free applesauce, or tea, is SO good for one's blood sugar levels: The following is from:Open Original Shared Link but if you Google cinnamon and blood sugerr, you'll find lots...

I, too, now at age 49 and going thru menopause, have night sweats - they are terrible, sometimes and I wake up exhausted and dehydrated... I have a few suggestions: ONE) Forget about those who are not supportive - they are out there, and they WILL try to drag you down as people cannot be supportive when they are avoiding their own health issues, or when they think they know it all (like many docs)...SO, you need to actively find supportive people/docs. TWO) You MUST get yourself properly... -
