  1. Anywhere from 200-300 a month. Though this month with thanksgiving at hand more like 400. (And yes this is for two people...)
  2. the pasta salad is really easy. I just take my leftover noodles that I may have, put sundried tomato basil vinaigrette on it and throw in olives, cheese, scallions, carrots, whatever I feel like having. Its quick and easy really. I love the simpler ones
  3. 7:30 MST *Grin* And feel free to bring something if you want. *chuckle* (Maybe a few larabars. I am obsessed with those) And if you come early you can see my 2 inch kitchen...
  4. And wooden spoons. As for what to do, there is no way under the sun a doctor can get it right one hundred percent of the time. I have been sick for the past year and a half before going gluten free. Doctors thought it was because of my miscarriage. Other doctors believed I had Polycystic ovarian disease. I had gain an unexplained fourty pounds even...
  5. I am pretty sure glutino pretzels should not taste so good. I brought some to go with my lunch, more as a snack thing for over the next few days. But my container is now about half full. Pretty sure I am spoiling my lunch, which I am excited to eat... PASTA SALAD!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. So in an odd sort of way I am taking everyone's ideas. I've started making all the dinner preparations already (Like the soup is mostly made, though I lost about a third of it by not paying attention and let it boil over. Ending up transfering it to the crockpot after that.) Tonight comes veggie chopping and making cranberry sauce (and a cranberry jelly...
  7. I tried tinkyada last night... ITS HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I assume sam's would have the same meat as Walmart right? I have only been to Walmart, as we don't have a Sam's club card, and Walmart is closest to us. I personally just don't like the hamburger there, its always tough when I cook it. But I haven't had problems with it. Of course, like was above mentioned, I do not buy frozen meat or premade patties...
  9. I know I want to make the stuffed cornish hens.--> I am thinking this would be the longest part I also want mashed potatoes/gravy Stuffing, yes extra stuff because this is my favorite part of the meal. Pie-- Not sure what kind yet though. prolly pumpkin. Beans with fresh tarragon A curry carrot soup... Cranberry sauce... (I know not really any turkey...
  10. Someone else on this forum told me that vinegar and water mix was a good disinfectant, I haven't tried it, but it makes sense, vinegar is STRONG stuff. After all it can clear up clogged drains. Can't remember who said it, but its somethin to try. Anyway, for a shared kitchen, my husband is "gluten lite" on my behalf, so he mostly eats what I eat, but he...
  11. Okay, so I know what I want to do for Thanksgiving. The problem is implementing said plan. I know that I want to try making my own Thanksgiving dinner beforehand, and then just bring leftovers to my family dinner. The problem is the days I have off work are TG day and the day after, not the day before. My family usually likes to eat at 2. (Though we...
  12. My husband who is not a gluten intolerant/celiac prefers Ancient Harvest Quinoa because he says it tastes like "real" pasta. I myself hate it. I personally prefer rice pastas because I think they have more flavor. I have not tried Tinkyada, we just buy DeBoles because its cheaper. But common consensus says Tinkyada is good. So that will be my next try...
  13. Well at least I feel like it is killing me. And no, it ain't one of my intolerances. I wish I could say it was. At least ten I would feel better sooner... But no... Its a stupid, infernal cold! Just as I was starting to return to normal, I caught my husband's cold. And I feel like I got it worse than he did. Between the coughing fits that result in a lot...
  14. Dude, I was born in 1989, clearly I am on the young end of this discussion, but I know exactly what you mean. My parents were very good at raising me to be a polite young woman, same with all my foster families before I was adopted. I knew respect, even at age 2. I may have the weirdest accent you've ever heard, being from Washington DC where everyone...
  15. Lol gee I feel special... My thread was referenced. *grin* It is in fact reassuring to know that I can do all these things I couldn't do before. Back to original topic. Yes, we all have our days where the world just doesn't seem right. Can't eat this, can't do that, can't drink this. Now let me just be sad while I sit here eating my glutino pretzels...

  17. So admittedly I usually adapt gluteny recipes and mold them into a gluten free version, or I just come up with my own recipe alltogether. But I would like a good cookbook or two that can help me with other ideas. I am also looking for something that has lots of good explanations on how to use certain gluten free items, or something, in either the front...
  18. LFA (for lack of wanting to type it all out)~ Yeah. I am of the sort who enjoys doing the stereotypical housewife life. Making my hubby breakfast, doing dishes, all that jazz, is almost relaxing. Well not almost, it is. Like I got mad at my husband for some little thing this morning... Went and did dishes, and was fine. But I am so impressed with my...

  20. Anyway, lately I have been unable to sleep past 6 am... (When I used to sleep in till like 10 am...) So today, I actually got up and made my husband a nice breakfast. It consisted of cheesy scrambled eggs, homemade tortillas from dinner a couple nights ago, huckleberry jam, salsa, Lemonade... (Don't ask why he wanted lemonade for breakfast.) Oh and Peppermint...

Well it shows up when I click the blog link at the top of the forum... Right now the one on top for me is a VigRx blog or something.... Also where it lists recent blog updates in the side panel, there are like eight or so of similar nature.... I am not sure if I am making sense but hey....I woke up way too early today...

Is there anyway to filter what blogs show up on the main blog page? Those incessant "Vimax" blogs are disgusting, and I am pretty sure some of the pictures are not appropriate. In other words, can they just post those blogs solely on a Spam Blog and not ours? Or at least send them to our junk/spam folders in our emails so we never have to look at them...
  23. I am inclined to disagree there Richard, I have found quite a number of stocks that are not gluten-free. Anyway back to original question... I have noticed that for some reason beef stock has a higher rate of having items I cant eat, like MSG and Gluten than say chicken broth, so I would say that it is highly likely there was some in your beef stuff... But...
  24. First of all, EVERYTHING gluten-free should come out on their specialty plates including lettuce wraps. That's there way of telling the customer they got your order right. As for your lettuce wraps, one way to tell if they are gluten free or not, (I noticed this at any rate) is that the gluten-free chicken is coated with only their soy sauce, (i think) and...
  25. So on friday I had a severe panic attack, and no one was around to help me. I should explain that I have been working close to, if not more than 40 hrs a week the past few weeks, and I am supposed to be a part time employee. No benefits, no overtime, no nothing. Plus I have a messy house that I cannot even walk in. Dishes are piled a mile high. Laundry...
