    Shirley-- Great story too. It reminds me of the movie "Super-size Me"...about McDonald's. One part of the DVD shows how McDonald's fries set out for months and never grew any mold, not even a spec ! But all the hamburgers did. I heard an interview with the guy who made the video, Morgan Spurlock, and he said they sat out even longer than the video showed...

    Hugh, that's interesting... I've never had full-blown sweats perhaps, but I always get hot at night, while my husband is on the other side with a heated blanket. I don't get hot during the day though...its weird.

    I have given up on canned cream of ___ soups. I use Betty Hag's cream of soup recipe. You mix it up, put it in a container and it keeps on the shelf till you need it for a recipe, just add water. You can make it for chicken, mushroom, yadda yadda. I can post if someone wants it...

    Hmm, that's confusing! Hope you figure it all out... I was tested for lupus, that was pre-celiac disease, and it turned out okay. Have to say, I thought of you the other day... I can't remember what I was looking at, but I saw something where potatoes were discussed as being part of the night shade family. I thought of you... didn't know potatoes...

    I thought Lay's baked ruffles chips were okay. Look at this response posted online. Kind-of confusing... What do they mean only the "regular flavoring" of these chips is okay....and then they list chips with flavoring ??? PS--Anyone eat baked Kettle chips. I used to looove them, but they told me that couldn't say whether their chips were really gluten...

    Well, Shirley...bad news for me. As I was mulching last night, I noticed a hole in one of my banana peppers. (Man that makes me so mad !) So, I opened it up to see the offender, and it was an earwig! I thought of you and said 'oh no!' The only thing I have read re: earwigs is to try and trap them. How effective and easy can that be?? I may have to...
