  1. That sounds like it would be close and some garlic and onion you have soup IT is not concentrated but when I want tomato soup I use Pacific organic creamy tomato .

  5. I have to totally agree with this. Yeast raised rolls is one of the things I am still having trouble making gluten free. Most of my other favorites have have been able to convert to gluten free.
  6. Are you taking any vitamins that are high in iodine ?? I would wonder if he may have an issue with gluten and is getting exposure from the kisses and hugs.
  7. Are you nursing him or is he on formula?? Did you check all the items you use on his skin?? Is his dad gluten free??
  8. actually most breads and flours are fortified with vitamins . There are some vitamins that add gluten/wheat as binders and fillers but with careful search you can find gluten free ones.
  9. Vitamins are not a substitute for food but many celiac's have vitamin deficiencys that require supplements. There are vitamin that are wheat and corn free but you need to read the labels very very carefully.
  10. Have you had your vitamin levels checked?? vitamin D and B levels??
  11. When I went gluten free I also had trouble sleeping while I was going thru withdraw from the gluten. Also I would encourage you to have your thyroid checked

  13. The top 8 food allergens are dairy, egg, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and shellfish. This is a good place to start. As good as my endocrinologist is, unless it shows up in my blood work she does not change my meds. I may have to STRESS to her that even though my blood work is "within range" ( I HATE that phrase) I am having symptoms that indicate a med dosage change...

One of the wonderful things about eating gluten free; When a coworker that knows I am gluten free "forgets" and offers me a Krispy Kream doughnut and I am not even tempted .I say no thank you and the look on his face is priceless and then he "remembers" and we have a good laugh.   19. With hashimoto's can you have hyper episodes??? How can you balance that when your on meds ??? Or do you just ride it out??   22. in one of your posts you state you are using rice milk,, are you sure your rice milk is gluten free??? Some rice milk actually say gluten free on the carton but use barley in the processing.
  23. My last testing they took 8 vials of blood thankfully I had a bottle of water and a banana in my car because I sure needed it when I left
  24. If you are concerned about lupus have your doc do an ANA test. My doc did an ANA test that came back moderately positive ( 35 in mod range 20 to 60) but negative for lupus.My Hashimotos antibodys were off the scale( 998.76 with normal range being < 10.10)which accounted for the mod. positive ANA reading .
