  1. Be watchful of how your rash reacts or does not react to iodine . Seafood, ice cream ,milk, vitamins ,eggs (anything with any amount of iodine )ect.... can have an effect on DH.
  2. As to leaky gut and intolerances ..... "leaky gut can cause food allergies and intolerances that can go away once the gut barrier is completely healed." I believe this to be true. As my gut has healed many, not all but many, of my food intolerances have resolved. BUT an autoimmune response is different than a food intolerance I have an autoimmune...
  3. It took me about 8 weeks to level out enough to function some what normally . Open Original Shared Link
  4. I had a pity party for my self when I first went gluten free,, truth to be know I spent about 8 week vacillating between crying, anger, depression and soooo many other lovey emotions. Then I came out of the gluten withdraw. I still have days when this all gets me down but those days are now fewer and further between. Have your pity party, know that...
  5. I agree with your nutritionist,Rotating foods especially while healing would be most helpful. At one point my safe food list was very ,very short With healing,I have over time been able to add back many foods and most others I can tolerate as long as I rotate them. Rotating foods like nightshades, corn and legumes is the only way I can tolerate them...
  6. It looks like a beautiful area . Thank you for the information and the links
  7. I am really looking for an idea of what the area is like. I since I would be visiting often (possibly moving there at some point )I would be interested in outside activities (hiking trails ect..) My daughter is mainly interested in the housing market and schools ( she has young children). She is looking into the college in Lynchburg for her self. Of...

  9. You may want your doc to check your blood sugar.
  10. My daughter who has been gluten free for quite awhile just went dairy free. She fought going dairy free for a long time but after having a smoothie made with coconut milk she said " OMG this is better than one made with milk "
  11. What I miss the most is safe ,convenient food. I miss being able to pop in on my way home for take out or a quick meal. I am soy free as well as gluten free which makes eating out for me pretty much imposable .Even if the restaurant has a dedicated frier it more than likely uses vegetable (soy) oil in that frier. They also more than likly use vegetable...
  12. I went from being vegan to eating almost paleo in the beginning. Then , at my worst, I was eating mainly ground lamb and rice, there was little else my body could tolerate at that point.Removing the offending foods was the only way for my body to heal. Nutritionally my body has suffered. Finding good supplements that your body can tolerate is important...
  13. At one point all legumes were off limits for me .Recently I have been able to add most legumes back , as long as I rotate them in my diet. The exception being soy. After being soy free for 15 months I decided to try a small amount of soy oil ( in the form of ranch dressing). The results were disastrous and down right painful. Needless to say I am now...
  14. Yes I was wondering the same thing . You also mentioned colloidal silver plus betaine HCL .
  15. I have been there and honestly it SUCKS!!!! I know that and I agree.!!!! I discovered sooooooo many intolerances in addition to being celiac,, there was a period of time where about the only thing I could eat was ground lamb and white rice. But it got better. I got better. My gut began to heal and slowly , very slowly , I have been able to add back...

  17. Is LF legume free? Is he soy and dairy free?
  18. When you have negative blood results but a positive diet response that is enough to say " I need to be gluten free". I understand the concern that something else may be going on. For many of us it is not as simple as JUST celiac or gluten intolerance. There are other autoimmune disease and compilations that we will deal with. I would encourage you to...
  19. There was another thread in which someone said " gluten messes me up". To me, that is all that needs to be said .
  20. there is a link between H. pylori and ITP . If you have not been tested for H. pylori , that may be something to consider. If you are thinking ITP make sure your doc does a complete blood count. This test checks the number of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets in your blood. In ITP, the red and white blood cell counts are normal, but the...

  22. In the US ,most if not all centers will not allow you to drive your self home. Check with your center and ask about this. I would not have it done with out sedation,.
