I do not have that much left on any given day My blood type is uncommon (AB) and for years I gave blood regularly. They would call and remind me that enough time had passed and I could give again....
  5. It is normal for me to be irritable while healing from a reaction . I recently attempted to add back a food to my diet. It got me but good. My reaction was swift and devastating (both physically and emotionally ). The emotional upheaval was staggering, I am still recovering.

  18. I have been gluten free for 2 1/2 years and I still have eruptions. Mine seems to be aggravated mostly by iodine. And since I have Hashimoto's and am on thyroid meds ,iodine is not something I can totally eliminate from my diet. I walk a VERY fine line between getting enough iodine for my thyroid health and not to much to set off my DH. The wonderful...
  19. I agree with this. I have been gluten free for a long time and if I consume large amount of iodine I will have a breakout. The iodine seems to "aggravate" or "activate" the antibodys in my skin . And any and I do mean ANY CC ( gluten cross contamination )will trigger a break out.
  20. I was " officially" diagnosed because of a positive DH biopsy and my response to a gluten free diet . My understanding from my GI doc and my Dermatologist is that DH = celiac.
