  1. Even still, you are making food "drunk", and I like it!
  2. Here is a collection of DH photos. They seem to represent the ways DH can "morph" Many of the pictures you have posted seem to be consistent with these pictures of diagnosed DH. This does not mean it IS DH, it just means...it sure seems to resemble it. I had many blistery sores on my scalp, face, in my mouth when I was very ill from unDXed...
  3. Well, sure..... who doesn't love pate?!! If we're "going there" --then yes, I am a CLLC member, too. Foie gras is only as good as the chef..... RUBBERY ones---oh no!!
  4. You are most welcome to come stay in the country with me anytime, Love2.
  5. Actually, I believe that EatMeat4Good loves chicken livers, too. You've got company. Enjoy! It is VERY hot here today, and even though I hate it, the AC is on, so I pulled out the counter top rotisserie and herbed up a chicken. A mixed green salad with goat cheese, dried cranberries, carmelized walnuts and balsamic dressing.

  8. only you (and I--- and maybe a few other sick pups) would have found that "literal" interpretation upon seeing that combo on the Recent post box!! I have. And I often wondered if anyone else did--and thought the same thing: we're not flesh- eating cannibals and whew!" ). I so heart you.
  9. Yuppers, the whole NE region has a short growing season--we are screwed!! and I have used the "he is such a good sport" phrase about my hubs from the moment I met him and for more times/reasons than I can count. Aren't we lucky chickies??
  10. Sorry, sweets, but my recipe calls for a ham bone. You need a "hamless" (i.e. vegetarian) recipe. How about this one? http://www.food.com/recipe/vegetarian-split-pea-soup-233926
  11. You're inquisitive today! I'll type it out and post it soon. Yes. NOOO! The ham bone gives it the flavor. Holy crappers, absolutely NOT!! It would taste like
  12. Tell the truth! It was only 5 emails. and, okay, I ate ONE to make sure it wasn't going to make her Tonight's dinner: Split pea and ham soup a chebe cheesy roll but No lemon bars
  13. Crappers! I was not named Sexiest Woman over 50? damn; that's disappointing! I know you are not feeling well, honey and you're really being a champ. Not to go too far off topic here, but do you mean you have Sjrogen's? And for the dehydration, please, do this. Here is what you are having for dinner tonight. (now, we are on topic again)...
  14. It's okay. I'll just get a demerit. One should not have a beverage too close to one's laptop and then, sip while reading something funny(which can cause a spit onto the laptop surface)...it's an unwritten, but well-known Board rule. I smell your Peanut butter lies.
  15.   okay, I spit my drink on the laptop again (Mushroom and Karen will scold me now) see, I told you that was a great line!

  17. Migraines suck. I battled them too, and I offer you this: ICE packs on the back of your head. Knock down that inflammation and sip chicken broth. okay.... Just teasing you here, so you will laugh (because I know you have a killer sense of humor) but your sig line says you "went dairy free in June 2013 and you have no headaches and less flatulence.......
  18. Cauliflower mashers (trying to get my Irish hubs to think they are the "same" as mashed potatoes--if I put enough Kerry Gold butter and garlic on the damn thing, it works ) Grilled filet mignon with roasted garlic and grilled portabellas and I made lemon bars (but I swear to St. Brigid, they are not for me!! They are for my physical therapist...
