  1. you can make your own chips if that is the issue. No sugar? Added (such as table sugar) or natural (like what is found in fruit)? I agree fruit would probably be the best bet.
  2. I don't worry about it and i react to nothing in it. Its the rice that was found in the south, i believe, that had that issue due to being planted where old cotton crop fields were or something to that degree.
  3. yep. That would be a way to cc it.
  4. You've bumped an old thread. The topic starter hasn't been here in quite some time either.
  5. Probably a wrap with veggies. Its too warm to cook.
  6. they need to run the ttg igg ones since he has a low total iga. A low iga can cause the results to be different and unreliable. By testing the TTG IGG you can have a more accurate result.
  7. I have no issues with them.
  8. No problem A food journal would be a good idea. If anything, it would help narrow things down a bit. It certainly could be. If you can do both milk and cheese, it could be something in the ice cream that is causing your issues (sweeteners and the like). How long has it been since he was diagnosed? Sometimes, it can take time on the...
  9. When i was younger, I used to get really bad growing pains in my legs. With celiac, we have a habit of blaming it before thinking of other causes. First off, take a deep breath and try to think it over rationally. You said his symptoms were headaches, stomach issues, crying, and anger. Of the four, in this case, only one has, so far, shown up. I am...
  10. I must respectfully disagree. I find the corn/quinoa noodles not only better, but they are far more forgiving than rice noodles. Plus you don't have to rinse them. At any rate, the noodles, from what i looked up and i might be wrong, are a mix of corn and rice noodles. This is what i looked at Open Original Shared Link Are you using enough water?...
  11. what type of gluten free noodles? What size of container?
  12. Even if it was made of wheat (or the other gluten grains), it is just the stalk and leaves. I doubt any of the seeds (or grains for that matter) would be left on the stalk. I've seen walmart carry them before. I would not be worried.
  13. that probably was it then
  14. A mild reaction can turn into a bad one. Its like playing with fire. I would suggest an epi pen.
  15. Have you had your thyroid checked? I've heard that, hashimoto's for example, can cause weight issues.
  16. Or you could just make a pizza....
  17. What type of mixing bowls? Plastic containers, yes. Basically, anything that isn't glass or stainless steal. I am unsure on the cast iron though.
  18. It probably is also a mild allergy too.
  19. What type of allergy testing did you have done?
  20. After i was dx'd its been about two years now.
  21. I found that whenever i caught a cold, it pretty much ended up going away far quicker than normal.
  22. Well, i have an idea as to what happened. I had my gallbladder removed two years ago. Since then i've been on a pretty low-fat diet (excluding occasional treats and mac and cheese). I have heard (whether or not this is true or not) that once your gallbladder is removed, your body has a harder time digesting fats. I also normally do not use butter in anything...
  23. Since Saturday, I have not felt well. I had decided to try an idea for a pizza sauce recipe and despite it not turning out like i wanted, my body did not like it one bit (milk, butter and cheese, with a little corn starch and salt and pepper). I normally have no issues with dairy, with the exception of butter (too fatty?). I can drink 3 big glasses of 2%...
