  1. Has his thyroid been checked? That could possibly cause this.
  2. Hard to say. Right now i would guess you are still going through gluten withdrawl and as such, your body is probably throwing a fit at not having what it wants. It took a while. The main symptoms ("D" and vomiting) cleared up within a week of the diet starting, but the other things took a while.
  3. My GERD was not able to be controlled by medications. I became intolerent to them. So then, i stopped taking them. A year has passed and now its to the point where, while i get something every day, it is managable via tums, water or food. I cannot sleep without my incline pillow. It was quite bad. Now it is mainly controlled by my diet. No greasy, fatty...
  4. Yep, environmental or even a food that is breathed in can do it. Sometimes there is no answer and you just have to carry a epi-pen everywhere.
  5. Allergy testing is not as accurate as we would like. So you can never know what is going to set you off. Sometimes it will get ya one time but not the next, but the time after it will. Don't dismiss it so easily as a intolerence. Not with that type of reaction.
  6. IBS is a symptom not a diagnosis. IBS is a part of celiac.
  7. Make big meals on weekends and freeze the leftovers. Make extra of sauce, freeze, and reheat with pasta.
  8. Today is world autism awareness day. Apparently, the empire state building is going to be lit up in blue to raise awareness.
  9. I don't think so, not in the US. Wheat cannot be hidden. As such, "natural Flavors" cannot mask it. It is also highly unlikely that barley would be in there either.
  10. Another thought would be to find a family butcher and see if they do grass fed beef. A bit more expensive then the stuff at a regular store, however, i do not get belly aches after eating the beef i get at the butcher. That, to me, is more than worth it. There is also no extra water or anything in it. Edit: apparently i missed your post. Oh well
  11. I had the biopsy done. Its really no big deal. She probably won't remember anything. All i remember is getting an IV done (and the nurse showing me how deep my veins were on the ultrasound machine due to being unable to find them easily), then being wheeled into the room where it was going to be done. The last thing i remember was becoming really dizzy and...
  12. Those are two of them its a start at least.
  13. I can't make heads or tails of that code. I tried :/ As for the anemia, if you are not absorbing vitamins properly that certainly can cause it. I eat mainly red meat, so don't feel bad! Mind you i eat a lot of fruit (apples mainly), veggies, and meat.... and peanut butter as well soo.
  14. I'm happy. I got a B on a midterm that was very difficult. Yay!
  15. I would certainly call that something. That sounds somewhat like an allergy (tingly mouth, ichy, swollen glands).
  16. I passed the 2k mark and i didn't even notice it.... hmmm... strange...
  17. Are you sure that it wasn't an allergic reaction to something?
  18. I loved going to St. Augustine FL when i lived in FL. At any rate, some sort of pasta tonight.
  19. Ah, the best time to read a series is when all of the books are out and you can have at it in one go.
  20. Are you in the US? If so, celiac also falls under the ADA (Americans with disabilities act) act i believe.
  21. Apparently, marshmallows give me a sugar rush... and i only ate a handful of the mini ones.
  22. Yes, celiac is genetic. All first degree relatives should be tested.
  23. To me it only looks like you have one.
  24. Thats what i thought, thanks guys
