  1. Soups on. Simple this time, salt, pepper, beef, and carrot. I might throw in some pasta. I've been feeling kinda bloated so no cabbage this time
  2. Sounds like it.
  3. The upper right area of the abdomen is where the gallbladder sits. Having issues with it are not all that uncommon. In fact, mine got worse after i removed gluten from my diet.
  4. It can be if you use a lot of specialty items. However, most meals can be made gluten free. Rice or potatoes are good as a starch for meals. Do you have a crock pot? Toss in some chicken, with some sort of veggie, and let it cook it.
  5. I hope i'm not catching a cold. My nose is stuffed, i go from hot to cold, my ears feel icky, and my head hurts some. Probably going to make a soup if i get the energy.
  6. You could try removing dairy for a while and see what happens. Some celiacs don't handle dairy very well when they are healing.
  7. I'd say gluten. You just don't know who has done what at the salad stations. Also, did you get the potato opened or did you do it yourself?
  8. Both are very good cleaners. Baking soda is a good alternative for tooth pastes. Apple cider vineger is a good hair wash.
  9. Feel free to cut the dairy out. A good portion of celiacs cannot handle it after their dx. Some are even able to add it back after a while. Will it impact your healing? I wouldn't think that it would.
  10. How did i miss that? Sorry about that I used to eat out a lot as well. I no longer do so (outside of steak houses) because i do not trust them. You can always eat before you go and have a nice drink while others are eating.
  11. As a person who is near their second anniversary of going gluten free, it does get better. I assure you. You are probably still going through the gluten withdraw. No fun at all. Every little thing made me want it so bad. I no longer want or crave it. Do i miss the convenience? Oh yes, definitely. There are good gluten free pastas (ancient harvest...
  12. Are you planning on having further testing for celiac (such as the endoscopy)? Because if that's the case, you need to be on gluten for it to be accurate. 1. Ah, unilever is another one i believe. 3. I pretty much don't eat out. The only times i have is when i've gone to a steak house. 4. Yes, I do. If it has a chance to get into your mouth, then...
  13. I love that brand. I prefer medium, but sharp is a bit much for me. Mild is okay.
  14. Could be explained as being cross contaminated some where.
  15. Depends... what type of cheese?
  16. Lucky, I can't even do that. Of the two (gluten or tomatoes), I miss the tomatoes. White vinegar is a very good cleaner. Do a part and part water with it and have at it.
  17. I've had a milder version of that (bad headaches, sore/dry throat, dizzyness) long before my diet change. Not fun at all.
  18. I developed an allergy to tomatos after going gluten free. I used to love tomato sauce though. After the diet change my body started to react to them (head, neck, and shoulders would feel like they were on fire). I went to an allergist and he did the skin test, and indeed, a massive hive showed up on that one. Without a doubt, i am allergic to them. Before...
  19. We post pictures all the time.
  20. Left over pasta from last night.
  21. For those with celiac, none. Damage is damage regardless of if you have symptoms or not. That being said, I cheated three times... Never again.
  22. Gluten has a tendency to mask other intolerance symptoms. Eat a whole foods diet, nothing processed. So basic things like meat, veggies, and fruits. Please remember, not all people have issues with certain things. For one, i can handle corn and soy just fine, yet others can not. I suggest that you keep a food diary so you can try to find a pattern...
  23. Ah, I went through it. Mood swings, the whole deal.
  24. Local raw honey is supposed to help boost your immune system.
