  1. I'm planning on making mac and cheese again. A small batch enough for dinner and maybe lunch tommorow.
  2. I miss homemade spaghetti sauce. I was never one for them raw, but a pot of sauce simmering all afternoon? So good.
  3. Florida does have its cold moments.
  4. Spring? What is this 'spring' you speak of? All i've seen is snow... No garden for me, but i do get to help take care of the flowering plants.
  5. We've all been there. Its one of the good things about this forum.
  6. There was a discussion about the arsenic in rice a while back, i'll edit this post with the link to it. https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/96810-arsenic-in-rice/?hl=+arsenic
  7. Still kinda sore, lol. I'll be fine though. Indeed, it is.
  8. I don't mind painting, I highly dislike removing old 70's wallpaper though. The paper comes off, but the glue underneath... Mac and cheese for me.
  9. If you want to be officially tested, you need to stay on gluten. It is better to do it now than to do it later.
  10. No problem Hopefully you get get some answers.
  11. Drop coffee if you haven't so far. It can irritate a healing gut.
  12. Yes, it is normal. Your body is going through a with drawl period from both of those items. It will take a while for it to adjust. Recovery time on the diet varies from person to person. Some feel better within a few weeks, others a few months.
  13. Still sore from my fall yesterday. It was not supposed to snow today, I peeked outside and guess what?

    ARCHIVED Dental Horror

I don't handle the shots well. They hurt like mad and they ware off so quickly that it doesn't really matter. I had to have a cavity filled, the numb wore off and i actually felt it. Not fun. Luckily my dentist is really good so he realized what had happened while he was working and re-numbed it. I can certainly understand. None of my experiences were...
  15. Perhaps it would be a good idea for her to tell him how she feels about it. It does not have to be in person, an email or letter will work as well.
  16. Yep, mine is far more manageable now. Instead of day to day, maybe once a week or so? If that.
  17. I would just take it with me in any case. You can get those bigger lunchboxes that hold the cold really well and take your food along with you. If you are still fighting symptoms, have you considered there may be something else in your diet that makes you feel bad? Some people cannot handle dairy, corn or soy.
  18. That doesnt seem to be the whole panel to me. I could be wrong though. So, I would investigate further.
  19. Other reactions can mimic a gluten one. I use skippy natural.
  20. Its snowing like mad now. I slipped and fell on the ice earlier. I did not see it at all. It was coating one of those metal grate like things. Luckily, i didn't hurt myself. My bum will probably be bruised and my knee was a little sore (it gave out when i fell i think). I had to put my backpack on my back instead of wheeling it. My neck (from keeping...
  21. The news is calling for snow tonight.... It was quite cold today as well.
  22. Leftovers again. I'd eat a meatza.
  23. It could be Ncgi, nonceliac gluten intolerence. As far as i know, there are no official tests outside of trying the gluten free diet and having the issues go away. It has many of the same symptoms as celiac.
  24. I can't do tomatoes at all due to an allergy to them. However, i can do potatoes, but not peppers (acid reflux). I am somewhat careful with nightshades now. I don't over do it either.
  25. Good question. The weather can't decide whether or not its spring or not. We go from near 70F down to below 0F and back up again. That was in the space of a day or so.
