  1. Better question, do you get any of those things in your mouth? So things like shampoo, lipstick, etc, do need to be gluten free.
  2. Well, i decided to retry my alfredo and spinage goodness in two parts. I retried the alfredo sauce, and outside of the mild acid reflux, i am happy to note that my body does just fine with it. That was... 3ish hours ago? Though i might go make a corn tortilla with a little honey butter on it. Kinda got a low blood sugar thing going on at the moment...
  3. Whats in a nomato sauce? I have quite the allergy to tomatos so i can't have them. I also tend to stay away from other nightshades.
  4. If you can make it, you can take it. Anything from pastas, to other dishes. As long as you can heat it up for the meal, I don't see why you couldn't do so.
  5. I eat skippy natural creamy. Soooo gooooooood.
  6. Considering how new this diet is to you, i wouldn't be surprised if that was the cause.
  7. People do not understand what they cannot see. However, if you still wish to go with them, you could, alternatively, eat a very good meal at home, then go with them. That way you are full and you don't have to worry about it.
  8. Again, symptoms vary with each person. Just because you aren't textbook, doesn't mean that you do not have it. In fact, there is a percentage that are not.
  9. Celiac symptoms are as vast as anything else. One little bit will cause some people lots of pain and while others may not feel a thing. Just because you barely felt anything does not mean that you do not have it.
  10. I have GERD. I cannot take the meds for it because i became intolerent to them and they weren't doing anything and were making things worse. I control it via diet. No greasy, no fatty, no rich. I eat small meals frequently. I only drink water and on occasion milk. I was at one point, so bad that i couldn't hardly stand to eat. It isn't fun. I am...
  11. Sunny... sunny... sunny... I want my snow back.
  12. For needles, ask for the smallest needle possible. I dislike the appointments.q
  13. No idea what dinners gonna be, probably some sort of samwhich with an apple. However i have plans for reintroducing spinage (and by proxey alfedo sauce) into my diet this weekend. Its been, what, since octoberish since i had it last soooo....
  14. Normal, mine lasted a month or so.
  15. If other conditions that can cause it are ruled out, than yes it can be an indicater of it.
  16. It means that you have one of the genetic markers that can be associated with celiac.
  17. It will take time (months.... years?), but it is entirely possible for them to go away.
  18. Good... very good idea. Mine was working at 5% when i had my HIDA scan. No stones, no nothin' (later dx'd with something women in their 40s normally get). But i had pain, lots and lots of pain. It would get so bad that i couldn't hardly take a breath. It looked dead upon removal. This was after months of "its not your gallbladder". My d stopped...
  19. It takes time sadly...
  20. Honestly at this point if they won't test you can either A. Find a new doctor or B. Do a gluten free trial...
  21. Getting tested at this point would probably result in false negatives. However, i can help a bit with the GERD. I cannot take meds for it, because i became intolerent to them. It made everything worse. As a result, i have to watch everything i eat. No grasy, fatty or rich. I also have to watch how much i eat when it comes to chease because of the richness...
  22. I see no gluten in those. Mind you, i'd be more concerned about getting CC'd by others who eat those than the chips themselves.
  23. Can't never could do anything as the saying goes... Yes, it takes time. For some it can take years to get back to 'normal' while others heal quicker than that.
