  1. hmmm... about the blood in stool thing, its highly likely you have some hemorrhoids and those decided to "act up". Not all that uncommon if "D" or "C" is present for long periods of time. Sounds like you should look into having the endoscopy with biopsys done to rule out celiac (or even confirm). That would be the next step. It is very possible for...
  2. Does your college have access to scholarly databases? Thats how i got mine. I did a speech last semester in biology about it.
  3. Sodas and candies often contain sugars that can reek havoc on the body. Have you tried removing soy or corn? Either of those could do that.
  4. If it was casin, I believe all of those would effect you. Thats how my understanding works.
  5. Leftovers for me. I somehow got the sauce to turn really thick. So gooooood.
  6. Stress is evil. There is no doubt about that. My GERD loves to act up in the presence of it. More often than not, stress can be the main leading factor in certain condition (GERD for one).
  7. Because people have the inability to see it. It is not like, say, loosing a limb. They can see that. Something like celiac disease doesn't fall into it. They just do not see it regardless of how cruddy you are feeling.
  8. What about soy? That can be a trigger as well. As can corn.
  9. A lack of calcium can cause charlie horse type cramps in the body
  10. Lactose is in milk and lower amounts of hard cheeses, doesn't matter if it is raw or not i believe. Here is more on lactose: Open Original Shared Link
  11. Pork sounds good, but I always get really bad acid reflux after it (too much fat maybe?).
  12. Mac and cheese with asparagus for dinner. Its gonna snow some more
  13. The only other way i can think of is to experiment.
  14. You can make poptarts at home. There is a company (that has recently been mentioned in this section of the forum) that makes poptarts. It really isn't all too bad. The most i spend on gluten free stuff is a small percentage every month (chex, pasta, and corn tortillas). You'd be surprised how little bread you eat after a while. I'm a major pasta fan...
  15. For the last three years of high school, i was home schooled through an online school. One of the best decisions ever made. I had to keep a certain gpa (3.5 or higher) and get my work done. There would have been no way i could have handled another three years of high school at that time. I eventually graduated third in my class with a 3.89 gpa i believe...
  16. My hair is back to its major childhood thickness and is growing just as fast as it did then to
  17. The thing about tests is that there is always a "normal" range, anything above that is "abnormal". We all have certain antibodies, it has to do with the levels of tehm. You can still go for the endoscopy if you do so wish. Some members have gotten a positive biopsy with negative blood tests before.
  18. Call the company and ask? :/ they 'should' know.
  19. The numbness sounds more like an allergy
  20. Before i went gluten free, i spent many a night (and one full night ) wide awake. Now i have no issues sleeping (yay!). Have you tried being casein free?
  21. Leaky gut? Sibo (i believe that what its called)?
  22. When in doubt, always have benadryl on hand.
  23. Eh, how much do you like the couch? I despise shopping for them, its so hard to find the right one. Price comparison, slip cover would make do until you could find the one you like.
  24. Get one of those big slip covers to cover the whole thing and to keep the crumbs from getting everywhere?
