  1. Grits and shrimp (and okra/onion/tomato). I'm thinking oatmeal cookies since I'm cleaning out the freezer and the gluten-free oats have been in there a while.
  2. Everyone makes their way through this. Have you read the fitness board here? there may be some hints in there. Personally, I notice gluten makes a big difference in stamina and cramps. It's where I feel it first. Perhaps you're just going to have to take it easy for a while. And alternate hot and cold on the painful area. Mostly cold. What about a good...
  3. All is fair in love, war and gluten. All I can tell you is that for the first 6 months weird crap is going to happen. I thought I'd wake up one morning with wings sprouting out of my back. Your body is "rebooting". It will make a few bad starts if you know what I mean?? Start tracking your food - that will help you pinpoint an additional food issue...
  4. Holy crap, I just realized I'm at a "high altitude". Hmmm....I'm right at 2500-3000 ft, so you could expect there to be a slight "lift" in my recipes just due to altitude. Hmmm...maybe that explains my temperature problems, too? I wonder if others notice the buttermilk lift?? I swear I can convert almost all low(ish) gluten recipes by just adding...
  5. Did you have serology done? If so, was any of it positive? Have you had the rash biopsied for DH? The smear you're taking about is a DNA test?
  6. Google around for recipes. Mine uses sugar, that's what I'm used to...it's all about what you're used to.
  7. Well, it's baking powder. And everyone has their own tastes... I had many gluten cornbreads I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. I have played with the gluten-free version several times. I actually prefer it with a gluten-free flour mix of 2/3 c sorghum/ 1/3 c potato starch to the KA flour. I've found the more you get away from rice flour the better...
  8. That could come on handy during hot flashes.
  9. It will say ferritin perhaps? There should be about 3? Otherwise it's just "iron"?
  10. F cup on the left. C cup on the right. http://img.alibaba.com/wsphoto/v0/451770644_1/Plus-size-bra-E-F-G-cup-wholesale-and-retail-Hot-Sports-bra-Lacy-soft-cup.webp
  11. I wish I could do that NOW.
  12. She didn't run a TPO Ab, which is the antibody test for Hashimotos Thyroiditis. That would be inystesting to know, since it indicates an autoimmune attack is happening and it is heavily linked to Celiac. Your TSH does not have to be off to have Hashis, and some Hashis patients with normal TSH could use supplamentation. She also didn't run a free t3/4 which...
  13. Was going to PF Chang's for early Mother's Day (hubs headed to Germany tomorrow)...but it's UA graduation is tonight and they are booked solid. So it's Blue Fin. Yay!
  14. And the running for office part. . But unfortunately not the gigantic boob part. You guys and your boobs....too bad y'all don't have some of your own to play with.
  15. Ha! And NO. I'm running for office and I have this birth mark.... Oh, and you think I'm FEMALE??? Just messin' with you. About the female part.
  16. Oh crap. I have an unopened bottle. Not a fan of Udi's except hamburger and hot dog buns. Like Rudi's sandwich bread. Anything Glutino except the pretzels are vile. Ok, I did eat the chocolate donuts. Kinnikinnick donuts are viler (is that a word?). Schar chocolate wafers are edible. Hubs gagged on Pamela's cookies. Against the Grain products...
  17. This link should be handy. Print out as many fact sheets as you need. Open Original Shared Link
  18. Well, I was confused for a while - couldn't figure out how I went from a C to a D and it still wouldn't work....til I hit the F's and G's.... Actually, they used to be C's til my son "gave me a boob job". It was called pregnancy..... C to an F/G. That usually requires surgery. And the FUNNY part was the look on my face. I don't think they...
  19. Their stuff doesn't work for me, unfortunately. It doesn't have enough support and the sizes are wrong. So far Freya and Dominique work for me. Fantasie SHOULD work but the problem is getting the right size on the right style and since stores dont stock them i have to guess and order. Aaack!!! Found a Panache bathing suit top-that's another adventure - bathing...
  20. Well, I don't know if this is funny or sad... But I finally found a few bras that fit. And I went down a band size (almost two) and up two -three cup sizes to figure it out. And I now know I have huge boobs (F cup). No wonder D's weren't working... Now, all I had to do was say "F cup" to hubs and I magically got better looking. And even funnier...
  21. The necessity of eating gluten is an unfortunate part of testing and I understand why you wouldn't want to do it. I break out in a blistering, uncontrollable rash (DH) and have hideous reactions to most drugs and am allergic to sulfa drugs. The odds of me being able to eat gluten for testing are so slim my derm and other doc told me not to do it. So I...
  22. Holy crap! Too many ingredients for me but I bet it's good (and would put me into a sugar coma).
