    No kids here but my hubby loves Udi's Whole Grain. It's one (which is truly rare) that you don't even have to toast first. I said no kids here but my hubby might as well be one for as picky as he is about foods.

    I will warn you that many, most, who do the gluten challenge for testing find their reactions to be so much more severe than they ever had prior to going gluten free. Gluten free means gluten free, not a little bit gluten free, not mostly gluten free, not a bit of breading or a bite of cookie here & there.     Your numbers should not be going up at all. You are getting gluten somewhere. Do you eat out? Have you read the Newbie 101 at the top of the coping section? That will help you to ferret out how you may be getting glutened. Do you have a gluten free household or is it a shared household? Do you read ingredient labels?

    You're welcome. Actually there are 6 tests in the full panel but that is neither here nor there now that you've turned up positive on 2 of the 4 you were given. It only takes 1 positive to trigger moving to the endoscopic biopsy. I don't think I've ever seen anyone be positive on all the tests across the board. I'm not even sure that's possible but logic...

    You have 2 positives. Yes, it indicates celiac. The next step is an endoscopic biopsy. Be sure to keep eating gluten each & every day until the biopsy is over with.

    Yes, you absolutely can develop dh especially if you've gotten cc'd. However, dh almost always presents bilaterally. Since you said you have it only on the back of one knee; I tend to go with Karen's thought. At any rate, you should try to do much better about not getting cc'd. Buffets are ridiculous for celiacs to eat from! That's a cardinal NO-NO.

    Everyone is different. There is no ironclad time frame. Could be a few weeks, could be a few months, could be 2 years, could be 5 years.
