  2. Oh Irish, you ratted me out. I got a lot done in the morning! Then you had to talk me off the "stupid things that doctors say ledge". Thank you for that. Hope you got that walk in between our blabbering! We are having steaks, potatoes, crescent rolls and roasted asparagus. Your dinner sounds good! Yeah, I find that sour cream adds flavor...
  3. I just whipped up that crescent roll recipe. I went back to betterbatter website and you can use sour cream, cream cheese, ricotta or cottage cheese. I had sour cream on hand and the dough tastes amazing. That is a really good sign!!!! I am excited to bake this up and will let you know how the sour cream worked.

  11. Hi you aren't alone. Many people who try to do a "gluten challenge" feel horrible. Many do not make it and just opt to skip getting an official diagnosis. My daughter went back on gluten after only two weeks and the change in her personality and health was absolutely astonishing. She felt horrible. Back gluten-free she is a totally different kid. You...

  14. Hi All, I have been searching for a good blueberry muffin recipe. I can't believe I didn't think to post here and ask all you fabulous bakers. I want to be able to freeze them after they are cooked for quick breakfast in the morning. Thank you in advance! Kristi
  15. Dani, watch out for ketchup in the MIddle East. Only eat it if it is from a packet. They add water and other stuff to "stretch" the Ketchup in my experience. It tastes bad when they do this. We follow this rule anywhere outside the US to be honest but I really noticed the weird ketchup in the Middle East.
  16. I am sorry no one responded to your original post. I am on here frequently but I usually let the experts reply to posts like yours. My daughter's Celiac testing was negative. However, because of her symptoms and how closely related they were to Celiac, we decided to eliminate gluten and it has been amazing. She is probably Non-Celiac Gluten Intolerant...
  17. Welcome to the Board. Do you have a Trader Joes' nearby? All their gluten-free stuff has a g+ on it. Fabulous. They even have some frozen lunch entrees that are gluten-free. Also their gluten-free pasta spirals are good too and CHEAP. My daughter loves all of Darn210s suggestions except she prefers the Snyder's Gluten Free Pretzels. Her friends love...
  18. Yes, I picked the Pats for my pool and I am not a Manning fan (sorry for those of you who are!). Out of control?? It's Super Bowl Sunday, woman! Let her rip! We are going to a gathering (lucky for me there will be two folks with Celiac there so everything except for one dish (from someone I don't trust cuz they don't get it. "you mean there are gluten...

  20. Eat, mange, you need it after all those years! Tell him to give it back!
  21. You may want to check out 2Good2Be in Encinitas, CA. My family is from Seattle so maybe we will check you out!
  22. My family is in bed and I am up reading stuff on the computer WITH a glass of red wine because it is Saturday night. So, I just have to say that this is another Abbot and Costello conversation. Just insanity. A book could be written about the absolute absurdity of it all.
