  1. Thanks this is so encouraging! I do wish I could count on some credit. I think I still have some pride left. Keep up the good work, whatever it is, Diana
  2. I have been warned that there is corn in many of the products the dentist's office uses. Today I had the hygentist used a straight grit formula. All is well so far and it was rather refreshing in my mouth! I never know why the dentist caused me to bloat. I just blogged about my dentist appointment in the blog section. Is anyone told over and...
  3. I am thinking if I ever get my energy back again to go out and give people in this tough spot a hand. To think there was once a thought in my mind that house keeping was an uneeded job! i have sure been shown. Thank God my children are willing to help. Diana
  4. I understand the feeling of being too low to pursue friendships.
  5. Unless you are a vegetarian. Eat meat for every meal. I just discovered my body is absorbing meat, but practically nothing else. Surprise, the best food for me is meat?! I always thought that grains should be at the base of my diet plan.
  6. It could easier list the foods that I don't make antibodies for. Eggs, pork, avocado, sardines and cucumber. Everything else I am eating is making my body work very hard. I am just beginning a rotation diet in hopes my body can function better. I have a simple way of looking at a rotational diet that Karen Brinkman put out. It still seems a bit complicated...
  7. My food intolerance test showed I was intolerant of both corn and rice! This just firmed up, for me, the information that Dr. Osborne puts out is right for me!
  8. I found out that I have no antibodies for eggs, pork, avocado, cucumber, and sardines. All other foods that I have been eating I had a problem with! I am working on my next post about a rotational diet: coming soon.
  9. I am here in the several months and ailing place. I just had a food intolerance test and found nearly all the foods I eat are a problem. No wonder I am lacking in energy. Now I am dragging myself into a rotational diet. But I am not quite ready to start yet. But in the mean while I am trying not to repeat foods and am eating fish at lunch. All of the...
  10. One day I was feeling perky and having quite an animated discussion with my doctor. I had previously not wanted to consider cutting gluten from my diet.. Desperate as I was, it could not be that helpful. I always thought that my homemade breads were so good for me. Then, I drew a new line and I could avoid gluten if I could just feel better consistently...
  11. I am glad you are back to gluten free! Enjoy your walk.
  12. Thanks, I think that is a good possibility. Now I am learning the ropes of the rotational diet which I formerly drew the line at. I always draw some line. Okay, I will give up chocolate, but I will have my crystalized ginger! I hope I come to my new high soon because I am feeling about as low (Physically) as ever. I don't know where to draw my new line...
  13. Here is the dilemma: You need to feel better to get going, and you need to get going in order to feel better. Oh dear, do you have anyone that can come in and support you during this time? Well, if you don't, I imagine that you are like most of us that just have to muddle through. . Meal by meal you can get it done. Your children are old enough to help...
  14. I am hoping you get well. Meal by meal figure it out.' Here's some flowers *** Diana
  15. Breakfast in about 5 minutes: Okay so I cheated Poached eggs, set the water to boil and crack the eggs. When the water boils turn the burner to medium and cook eggs 5 minutes. If it is a little to the soft side that is good. Pull out your own premade almond flour muffin.( *here is the cheat) Smear 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil on it. Take supplements...
  16. My neighbor has a daughter that overcame ear problems after going gluten free. She had 3 ear surgeries to no avail. When she went gluten free she confounded the ear doctors. I don't have any guarantees, but it worked for my neighbor.
  17. Foods high in carbs, especially carbs need fat and protein to round out the meal. With those additions it should help one feel fuller longer. I have had some issues with extreme hunger. I would have an unsatiable appetite for days followed by days of no appetite at all. When I ate at subway, before I went gluten-free, I would feel like I had just...
  18. I found from my test results that of the things that I have been eating, eggs, avocado, sardines, pork, banana, cucumber, and strawberries I do not have anitbodies. By the way, you don't want antibodies being made for the food you eat. To rely only on these foods would probably mean I would soon be intolerant of them also. Everything else which I am...
  19. As a person suffering from celiac I can relate to problems with mood. Vitamin supplements have been helpful to me to spark recovery. You need your daughter to recover as soon as possible. You should see improvement over time. I have just had a couple of joyous health triumps in caring for my son. It took a long time. I stuck as natural as possible...
  20. Within a week I should get the results of an nutritional evaluation blood test. It might surprise me and come back just great, but I doubt it. I have had 30 years of Celiac symptoms. I was beginning to notice that only my supplements seemed to get in to nourish me. I thought this because if I ran out of even one of them I would soon be extremely fatigued...
  21. Keep up the good work. Beware of gluten. I hope all of us get our iron up. Diana
  22. I am too scared of yeast to even consider it!
  23. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. I guess she might have some of my test results. I am planning to bring cottom balls to stuff in my ears. If the results are negative, I lose credibility with my family. If the results are overwhelmingly positive (allergic to everything) whatever will I do? I stopped taking my 3 supplements which have rice...
  24. "Does going gluten free even for a short time and THEN getting glutoned make symptoms worse?" It did me! I think it is too sick on full time gluten to let you know. But when it has a chance to recover even a bit, it will let you know! It is actually a very good thing. It is super motivating! Diana
