  1. Hard boiled eggs travel fairly well in an egg carton, but be sure to mark them hard boiled!
  2. I hope you will get better. I hope you will get support. I am sorry you have to go through this. I think it is more than a string you are grabbing at, but even if it isn't you need to improve your health. What else can one do when you aren't up to par? I hope you will get accurate results with future tests will be helpful. Let us know how the cam endoscopy...
  3. I use to get eczema. I figured that something was coming out through my skin (maybe gluten) that really irritated my skin. I have heard the skin called the third lung. It sheds wastes as the lungs do carbon dioxide.
  4. Greetings, I wrote a blog about an upcoming dentist appointment, but elected to wait a while until the appointment was closer. It is getting close, so I am ready to edit and post it, but I cannot find it. Thanks for helping. Diana Somehow, I found it, but next time I will have the same problem. I have no clue how I finally did find it. Diana
  5. I am thinking I might not be tolerating all of my supplements.
  6. Did that change over time?
  7. NicoleAshley " I hope we are close to an answer. " I hope so too. Diana
  8. I am sorry, I wasn't clear: I had a negative test for gluten antibodies at 3 weeks gluten free, so I expect a false negative for that. If I were really screwing my diet, I guess that antibodies could be detected, but the food intolerance panel I spoke of included the celiac panel because it would produce information about the Total numbers of antibodies...
  9. I recently had a celiac panel drawn. I am wondering if lack of antibodies reverses? Can it be caused by Celiac? I haven't received my current test results, but considering past tests, I am afraid this will be how mine comes out. Any information would be appreciated. Diana
  10. I use a recipe for white sauce instead of Cream of mushroom soup. I use substitute dairy, oil, and guar gum to thicken. I add salt and a pinch of nutmeg for flavor.
  11. Eczema isn't normal. I had it when I was a teen. The itching is horrendous, if you can spare him only that, I think it would be worth it. Diana
  12. Greetings, You share some of my symptoms. Anemia could have alerted myself or my doctors long ago that something was not right. I am taking many supplements to keep me going. I do suggest nutrients to help recovery. I have been experimenting recently with sublingal Vitamin B. It does seem to help fatigue and heavy head that I get. I am not sure how...
  13. Additional questions for PSawyer : Did it heal well? How long did you have symptoms?
  14. I have been thinking when my body picks up gluten, or something else it doesn't like, it just shuts off getting nutrients. Diana
  15. I am 6 months grain free and I think it is a time when my body is really working hard on recovery. Some may think that it should be long since over, but no, I am certain that it is still working. It is still working very hard. It would be nice to have down time as one recovers, but whatever stage in life you are, you have responsibilities. You can go...
  16. Do people have diarrhea and tummy bloat? Do people have tummy bloat and constipation? Just wondering.
  17. Maybe you could contact the lab and get your results interpreted in English. I tested with another lab and was wholly impressed., I got a full explanation of the genetic results and also they could tell me about my parents and children's genes since mine were 4/4. I had 2 genes alleles for celiac and two for gluten intolerance. These are listed by my profile...
  18. How I think that allergies can be created by Celiac. I think that the small intestine gets damaged. Perhaps it even gets deteriated enough so that food stuffs leak out. The body discovers these particles and attacks them as foreign. They do not belong there. The body is designed to make antibodies which attack these particles anywhere in the body. ...
  19. For some people the bloating seems to subside right away. I have been gluten free 6 months and am just begining to notice my bloating changing. Sometimes I am bloated and sometimes I am not. I also think my bloating is more like 4 months pregnant rather than 5. That is an improvement. My body seems to be working really hard on recovery. I keep hearing...
  20. The villi in the intestines which sustain damage in celiac are what absorbs the nutrients for one's whole body. When these do not function normally one is bound to suffer nutrient deficiencies. Vitamins B, D, A, and K are often low. Many are low in magnesium and potassium. I don't know all of them that are often deficient. My guess is if there is alot...
  21. I am six months grain free. Sometimes I am having real highs. Sometimes my lows seem lower than ever. When I am the lowest, it seems often I swing to a new high. I say any reaction to the new diet is a good sign. Your body has begun to repair. When you feel bad you can know your body is working really hard to recover. When you are feeling better you...
  22. I think you should be checked for parasites. In Mexico you could have picked some up. If you do have celiac, you could be more susceptible to them. I think they can cause some congestion and illness . I think it a good idea to consider celiac.
  23. I am feeling so drained. I have a headache. I am thinking a few days without supplements caught up with me. Maybe I keep forgetting my good fats. I will be glad to get the results about nutrient absorption.
