  1. I had noticed halves of capsules coming through with powder still inside. I did a nutrient absorbption blood test. I have a vitamin B 12 high need I also need B 6 and B1. .. . It is a catch 22. One needs the vitamins to get the acid for digestion; one needs the acid to get the vitamins. Somehow, I have to break the cycle. . I have developed intolerances...
  2. Greetings, When I come on the forum I automatically click on new content to see all of the posts since the last time I posted. For reasons I do not understand my own content and replies do not appear in the list. I didn't see 4 answers that occured the other day! Today I remembered to hit follow this post, but when I don't shouldn't it appear in...
  3. I am considering whether vitamin B injections would be right for me. First off, I read that a certain variety of vitamin B is the best. What is it? Have injections been helpful to you? I am planning to try sublingual B first. How do I tell it works and continually works. It seems that my vitamins the longer I take them, become intolerable to me...
  4. Sometimes mine are red and sometimes they are black. I did just confirm a vitamin B deficiency. Diana
  5. Maybe you can get up for the market once and meet some people that sell what you need? In our state we have a website Minnesota Grown that lists farmers and their products. Perhaps you might have one of these where you live. I also shop at local food coops. There you can see what brands they have and phone numbers are frequently on the products. I...
  6. I always would like a way to mark progress. I just got my first report on vitamin absorption. I sure would like to repeat that down the road. Feeling better is good, but I like to measure progress somehow! Diana
  7. Hi, I remember 5 years ago before I got on my supplements, my hair was "suddenly" short and thin. I might have wacked it with a scissors because it was in horrid condition. I didn't notice extra hairs dropping. My question: Does anyone have the thinning hair without the thyroid issue? At the time my thyroid tested normal. I am considering having...
  8. Yeah, you should be good. I just did a antibody blood test for several things. They found antibodies to food that is just incidentally in my diet such a cinnamon, garlic, and chives. If you are eating a "normal" diet you can't hardly miss. I would get the test as soon as possible, so that you can go gluten free as soon as necessary. I hope your test...
  9. I don't know what the cause of my infertility was, but I know it has been 15 years from the last one. All of the while we desired some more. I hope you will return to good health.
  10. Just so I don't sneak up on anyone, I have a natural healthcare bend. I would have died not seeing an MD.
  11. My nutrient absorption test came back incredibly interesting. It came back with a high need for: pancreatic enzymes, probiotics, B vitamins, vitamin A and probably others. I had too much Taurine and have stopped taking my supplements for that. I found I had markers for mal absorption. The very most interesting thing so far was that I need so much more...
  12. I hope you will be able to heal and find a clear problem. There are more veggi people around and they may see this better if you post it under how to cope with celiac instead of blogs. I just found I was intolerant to nearly everything I am eating but meat, so I can't t help much. You do need alot of protein to heal. Also you can't get B12...
  13. I motivate myself to stay on the diet in order so that I can help my body heal.
  14. Maybe try strawberries, raspberries, grapes, or pears. But try a little bite or two and see how it goes.
  15. I am bringing my own this year. My brother sent me a message on face book not to forget to come on Thanksgiving. I said, I would be glad too. We will bring some corn to share. Of all the strange things I gotta do this year I will bring my own plate of food. I will be disappointed because I want to join in, but happy because with my celiac even a tiny...
  16. I was glad at first that my appetite was slack. It comes back now and then. Get ready for that. Diana
  17. Maybe you could consider wether you may have had too much of some nutrients. It just happened to me.
  18. I am wondering if you went gluten free diet made your plaque level go down, or did you begin it before the probiotics?
  19. I just wrote a blog in celiac.com about the dentist. For the short version, I think yes the teeth can have problems because of celiac. Mine began to have problems in high school or before.
  20. Genova Lab Food intolerance. I guess with celiac and leaky gut to develope these antibodies.
  21. I am just wondering how it is going.
  22. I had a genetic test from a lab in Sweetwater, Texas. I was very satisfied with the results and information they provided me with. I had both 2 DQ2 snf 2 DQ8. I was told that all of my children were therefore carriers of the genes. I also discovered that both of my parents have the genes. Most people could probably not discover all of that from the one...
  23. Be sure to get good fats as these give energy. Check for other food intolerances. Absorb your food! I hope you will feel better soon. I am 7 months grain free (I can recommend it) and just found out I have many other food intolerances and probably haven't been absorbing well either.
