Trial 1 With Zglutn: Has Anyone Else Tried This?
1desperateladysaved commented on iang's blog entry in iang's Blog
I did like my nutri-val test which analyzed my need for supplements in great detail. Some common for celiac ones that I am on are: Pancreatic enzymes (could that be what you tried?) Vitamin B Vitamin D Coenzyme Q10 Magnesium Probiotics I am also on a special series that my chiropractor tests me for. I I think that I am now hoping that the nutrients... -
ARCHIVED I Am Wanting To Show My Rotational Diet Plan
1desperateladysaved replied to 1desperateladysaved's topic in Board/Forum Technical Help
Maybe my young ones can help me figure that out. I am techniqually challenged. That sound more like how I wanted to present it. Diana -
I have always emphasized eating to be healthy and did not focus on my weight or figure. I am somewhere around a month (?) into my rotational diet and also began pancreatic enzymes and vitamin B recently. My weight began at around 200 6 years back. I lost 30 lbs when I began a supplement program with my chiropractor. My weight had become relatively stable...

ARCHIVED I Am Wanting To Show My Rotational Diet Plan
1desperateladysaved posted a topic in Board/Forum Technical Help
I was talking with someone that wanted to start a rotational diet plan. I now have a two month plan and would like to put it up to show how I am working it out for my life. Can I scan an 8x11 paper in to share? Thanks, Diana -
ARCHIVED Testing Advice Needed Please
1desperateladysaved replied to melon-uk's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I had a positive blood test at 6 months grain. I figured out I was getting cross contamination. It turned out my buckwheat was processed on the same equipment as wheat and corn. You could take the test and see if it is positive. You can't trust it if it is negative though. I think there are many more blood tests then the antibody test. Someone else... -
ARCHIVED New To This And Feeling Desperate
1desperateladysaved replied to KaleidoscopeDream's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I hope you will be feeling better soon. Hang on, the withdrawl can make one feel depressed. I always think that when I have any reaction at all (good or bad) it is a good sign that something is happening. Also, when I am feeling my worse, it is often right before the highest high to date. I am about 6 months grain free and feeling very well today. To... -
ARCHIVED Would You Pursue Celiac Testing?
1desperateladysaved replied to Momto2girls's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
All of the grains that you reacted to contain gluten. If you react to gluten you would react to them all, I think. Did the test check for allergic reaction, IGG or what? Being sensitive to these things could be an allergy or an intolerance. Either way, it looks like you may be going gluten free. Do you have any more of your story which you could share... -
ARCHIVED Discouraged, But Needing Hope
1desperateladysaved replied to angelynnb's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Sorry to hear you are struggling like this. I remember feeling overwhelmed in my not too distant past. I am about 6 months gluten free. I ended up supplementing, checking for food intolerances, and following a rotational diet. I am not wanting to overwhelm you with that, only encourage you that there is or will be more that you can do to recover if it... -
ARCHIVED Glutened By Rice Dream Rice Milk
1desperateladysaved replied to Mae238's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Make sure you are not reacting to rice. I was using this product in the not to distand past. Thank you for the information, because I do have one gluten intolerant friend still using it. I have found out that I am intolerant of rice, so I thought I would mention that. Diana -
ARCHIVED Brain Fog Is Going To Kill My Career
1desperateladysaved replied to Brownie88's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Make sure your nutrient levels are good. If you are short on vitamin B, you will get brain fog. There may be other reasons. Keep walking in the right direction. I hope you will get better soon, Diana -

ARCHIVED 2 Different Answers About A Medication And Gluten
1desperateladysaved replied to KnightRobby's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I had a company that absolutely could not tell me if corn was in their product. However, they solumnly warned me that they could not guarantee the product was corn free. I read between the lines; there was corn in it. -
Hi, I am seeing that many people read my blog on the count today. Yet, only 2 recent visitors are listed as having seen it. Please explain why that is. Diana

ARCHIVED Christmas Family Event. Beyond Frustrated
1desperateladysaved replied to Skysmom03's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I am glad not to be the only one that goes through this type of thing. I say, sometimes you cannot live at peace with all men. Your families health is more important then a "perfect" time. My bringing my own to thanksgiving worked out okay. I was trying to shush someone talking about it, but it blew over and was forgotten. I did write in advance to say... -

ARCHIVED Dr. Arthur F. Coca Diy Pulse Testing For Allergies
1desperateladysaved replied to gfreejz's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Hmmm my pulse is what my chiropractor says is the most stubburn of my measurements to go down. I was told before to check after meals for a change in pulse. Five years back was the last time I went to Culvers for a fish dinner. My pulse went from its usual 70 to 90 beats per minute. I do think there is something to this. I thank you for reminding me...- 1 reply

ARCHIVED Still Have Withdrawal Symptoms Month Into Diet
1desperateladysaved replied to Dempsey's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I couldn't tell what was gluten withdrawl, or cross contamination. Check for sources of gluten accidentally there and Hang in There. Diana -
My family is planning a long car trip. On the forum, people were discouraged that my family would choose to eat at a restaurant that I would not eat at. Traditionally, we have eaten out atleast 1 time a day on our family trips often twice. We have 7 people in the car, and a car oven that can perhaps accomodate food for 2 people at the most. At our destination...

Hopefully, soon your body will be warning you when you make mistakes. Mine took about 4 days of a gluten free diet before it really started bellyaching when I goofed. Other than that you can learn alot here, and in time you will know how to handle it. Diana -
ARCHIVED When To Expect What
1desperateladysaved replied to Em314's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I am 6 months gluten free. I felt immedietly better upon going gluten free. Then I began suffering incidents of cross contamination, mistakes and possibly withdrawl symptoms. I discovered other food intolerances and nutrient absorption problems. I haven't had just a picnic, but my highs seem higher. One doesn't always have a smooth course of a hill,... -
ARCHIVED Am Not Getting Better
1desperateladysaved replied to jamesM11's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Don't lose hope until you have tried to solve it from all angles. If gluten free alone doesn't solve it, you can try looking for other intolerances and nutrient defieciencies. After that, you can supplement and cater to intolerances. If you are doing all of these and still are having trouble perhaps more time will solve, or allow you to find the next step... -
