    When going through questioning for causes for insomnia one of the mentioned triggers is alcohol. Normal people with no issues have sleep problems assiciated with alcohol. It makes sense that when your diet changes, your reaction to alcohol would change too. My 2p Elonwy

    Tequila is gluten free as long as its 100% Agave. Jose Quervo has mixes that are gluten-free. De Kuyper Shnapps are gluten-free, as Schnapps are made from the juice of whatever they say they are like apple or peach. The peppermint or Gold stuff I'm not so sure about.     It was a box mix? All the box mixes of rissotto I've found were not gluten-free. I buy the bags of rice and then add all the spices and stuff myself. Elonwy

    I got the prairie bread ( oh the joy of crunchy grainy bread) and a mini pecan pie. The bread was 8 bucks and the pie twelve. I really really hope that pie is good. It was so exciting to see the new labels! The bread has dairy, I didn't check the pie and its hidden in the back of my fridge with a big shiny shark sticker on it. Yay for whole foods! Elonwy

    Healthy choice has thier Chicken and Rice soup listed as gluten-free on the Delphi lists. I would read the label anyway, of course. Also Dinty Moore, Kettle Creations Chicken 'N Onion with Wild Rice ,ShariAnn Organics Soups and Sheltons. I've only heard of two of those brands, so maybe some of them are regional. HTH ELonwy

    That is absolutely insane. I'm so sorry that happened. I've never heard of beer exploding. I had a soda explode once because I put it in the freezer and forgot about it but that is just nuts. The ones I drank had some head on them but my god! Please tell your husband I didn't do it on purpose! He probably thinks your Celiac friends are crazed beer assasins...

    I do it the super-old fashioned way ( I grew up with no electricity so have some weird habits). I take a large pot and put in one-two tablespoons olive oil, which is heart healthy and gives the popcorn a wonderful nutty flavor, heat the oil, put popcorn in, then shake vigorously over flame until the popping stops.     I'm living off of Amy's rice bowls right now. Those and the enchilada bowl. I have a mini-fridge and a microwave at work though. The bowls don't have to be in a freezer for those four or five hours before I nuke em, the mini-fridge works fine. Of course, if this is what you're getting sick of, ignore me. Elonwy

    I was reading the new SillyYaks Restaurant list and the dressing is gluten-free but there is a risk of cross contamination because they use a knife to spread it on the buns. So protien style no dressing. Yummy. Elonwy

    I went to my friends house for a BBQ, and my friend made lettuce burgers, made the boys keep the buns on the other side of the room and even had a gluten-free designated dishcloth for me set aside. I felt so loved. Those gestures mean so much. I'm happy you had that experience. Elonwy

    Yeah I don't think I could strategically spit on my own chin. Another idea I just had would be pre-moistened towellettes. I've been thinking of finding some gluten-free ones ( theres gotta be some) just to carry around with me for the constant hand wiping that I now do. Elonwy

    I lick my finger then wipe it on the envelope then wash my hands as soon as possible. If it doesn't make it for the whole strip, I use another finger. I actually did this pre-gluten-free cause I got a papercut on my tongue once from an ATM envelope. That sucked. Elonwy

    Yeah I require cotton panties with the latex covered or I get a reaction. Alot of people have issues with latex. Amazingly not everything is gluten. lol Elonwy
