    i love niagara on the lake, but can do without the falls. some 'hidden' parts are nice. i live on the canadian side, though. the american side, in my opinion, is really grungy. although i am sure there are hidden parts on there i dont know, too.

    RiceGuy, Only their 'vegan' flavours are casein free - the Veggies ones are not. They don't have much of a vegan variety.

    The second I consume casein, I get brain fog. I had it constantly for about six months when I was lactose free, and then after the switch, it just disappeared (unless I accidently get some).

    I have an excellent, highly recommended GI in Niagara. He's an "everyone loves him" doc. I also see a great internist. If you're willing to travel, I can give you the info. I've never waited long to see him.

    If you are newly diagnosed, everything might bother you. However, just because you have celiac disease does not mean every ailment that might occur is due to celiac. You might just randomly have trouble digesting beef today.

    i am allergic to buckwheat and it's family (which includes rhubarb and sorrel)... are you allergic to either of those and might not have known the connected? also - on my website, i have two kasha cereal recipes that i have made for my family that they really enjoy.

    hey sore joints, where are you from? i am not sure if he supports enterolab, but my GI is excellent, and i never have had to wait long for an appointment. everyone loves him. my internist is also a gem. another option would be to try to get in at mcmaster. they have an abundance of great doctors there.

    some wines have casein, if you are casein intolerant. that, combined with sulphites, made my wine drinking days kaput!

    Hi (again), I know that President's Choice makes one that my dad likes. I think it's just "Hot Sauce". It comes in a little bottle. They are the same company as French's mustard, which I don't think is ConAgra. That's all I know! Dan T's sauces and Mr. Spice are also fine.

    nini, there were a lot of descrepencies here (on the boards) about that. afterwards, i ended up calling and they gave me a confirmed list. it is posted somewhere on here, but the salve is forsure gluten-free (as is the lip balm and lip shimmers, which i use).
