After weeks of being very careful I left down my guard and accidentally ingested wheat - I swelled immediately (5 lbs in weight, most of which disappeared after 30 hours), and my upper thighs are once again covered in small red spots (both legs), extremely itchy at first. Hi all, I have been gluten-free since October 2012 and have been hyper since July - just got my tests back, and while my TSH has risen a bit (0.06, the highest it has ever been, it was 0.01 last October), and my FT3 is 21.37 (max should be 6) and my FT4 is 35.49 (max should be 15.50).   6. Hi Kiki, soy lechitin gives me heart problems (extrasystoles). I also avoid it because of my thyroid disorders, and I am currently making my own pretty much anything. Have you tried looking up recipes to make your own salad dressings et cetera? I never use dressings, but I am pretty sure it can't be impossible to make?

  10. I have 50 pages of research punning the word "hang" in every possible way except the obvious obscene ones. Now, that was a feat. I am the same way with notes. I think it is a form of body memory. Not a neuroscientist really, but I think it has to do with the way in which you have to process sound into writing/visuals via your body movement.
  11. It's a girl thing, too. The good news is that you can make it to grad school even if you can't sit down still. I mean, I did still nicely in class, but I pace when I read/think, and "chair dance" when I am writing/dancing to the perplexity of my colleagues. This place calls itself "a resort for celiacs" but I can't vouch personally because I never visited. I think in Italy it is also a bit easier to be gluten-free because of the style of cooking, and you are less likely to find gluten-containing ingredients...
