None of your listings would cause me concern. But your history would be an important road to consider.

What were the results of your testing?

Elizabeth, how often do you eat? Do you have breakfast, lunch and dinner?
If not, digesting food when your tummy has been empty for some time, is hard on your system.
And you said you were in college, but be careful with drinking
I could be very dangerous with low body weight.
I hope you feel better soon.

Is it sulfites or tannins?
That's been my experience. Red wine will send me to the bath room, but I am fine with Pinot Grigio...with more than one.

My sister and family live in the Roanoke area. I'm up there several times a year.

I live in Roanoke. What sort of information are you looking for?
See....he heard me!
Roanoke has Kroger Stores to DIE FOR! They have everything you could possibly want or need.

(what is the deal with *fresh* eggs..... )
Maybe she was thinking spoiled eggs and rancid meat.
Oh, we can eat seeds, too. Whew, what a relief.
Feel free to contact the Today Show with your comments. I will.

I watched it and yelled NOwhen she said "go ahead and start the diet" before diagnosis.
Highly disappointing!

My daughter and her husband are considering a move to the Lynchburg - Roanoke Va. area.
Does anyone have any information about this area they can share with me???
Hey Richard

Try to eliminate dairy products and see if your symptoms are relieved. Or perhaps you have developed another intolerance.

Not much help Gemini, as I have a single issue, but it's a wonderful thing you are doing.
I received some wonderful gravy from a great friend around Christmas. And I lost a bet with Canadian Karen and sent her some Lee&Perrins.
It's so much fun to get surprised in the mail/post.

has anyone had a problem with snikiddy cheese fries. I think my daughter had a reaction to them. I contacted the company and they say they test their products though.
I am not familiar with this product, nor is it available in my area, but several flavors do contain dairy, as listed on their website:

Thank you!! Kraft seems to be very trusted by everyone, so that is good to know. Are there any issues with cottage cheese that i should be aware of?
I have never seen a cottage cheese that contained gluten, but of course, always read the labels.
It's often recommended that a newly diagnosed, go dairy free for a while. It can produce the same type of symptoms as gluten, until the villi begin to heal.
-
In addition, if you're new to the diet and have not healed enough, all foods (gluten or not) can be problematic.

I use The Gluten Free Pantry Scone Mix. I generally add cranberries or dried cherries and chopped pecans. It would work well with blueberries.

The shared abbreviation is for some reason striking me as hilarious this evening.
OH Yeah...
I could say sooo much...

Dear Mushroom, doesn't OP mean original poster? (as in, if I hijack this thread and take it off topic, we might want to get back to the OP's question...)
Not Schroomie, but Yup

I think this forum will auto check gluten-free, if not I recall it being discussed. (we'll see).
I really wish that people would stop using those abbreviations. It's not very helpful.
YES! IT DID AUTO CHECK!
I TYPED IN G.F. <remove the dot>
AND...ditto on the "no stupid questions".

Hi, I'm trying to figure out if Golden Sun brand "Super Crab Seafood crab-flavored seafood made from surimi" crab meat has gluten. The only things listed under the allergy warning are fish, shellfish and soybean.
The ingredients are: Pollock, Sugar, Sorbitol, Sodium Polyphasphate, Water, Potato Starch, Soybean Protein Sugar, Salt, Rice Wine, Soybean Oil, Natural Crab Extract, Natural Crab Flavor, Sorbital, Monosodium Glucamate, Cochineal.
I want to make gluten-free crab salad - can I use this?
I see no gluten ingredients.
-
Thank you kareng, I will remember that. I'm still getting used to the idea of being soooo careful!
And Lisa, could I get that layered salad recipe? Your other ideas sound yummy...I'm exicted to hear I can still eat Hillshire Farm Kielbasa - I have some in my freezer right now
Yes, but Oh...I always seen to leave something out....
Slice Romain or Iceburg Lettuce thin and add to a large bowl (large glass bowl preferred)
Add in layers:
Lettuce
Thinly sliced red onions - one large onion
Sliced celery - a whole bunch
One bag of frozen green peas - not thawed
Cover the top of the bowl completely in Mayo or Hidden Valley Ranch
Dressing
Generously cover in Kraft Parmesan Cheese and then crumbled bacon ( whole lb).
Cover overnight in refer, and serve.

I'll go lay my hat there.
I liked your reply. It made me smile.

I am SO sorry you feel poorly. AND, if it were within my power, I would bring you some *EFFING SORBET*
Feel better soon
