    Required to use them, goodness no. In fact, the Administration has requested that we NOT used them. I too have difficulties translating.
  6. Have you checked the recipe section of this forum. We have accumulated a cazillion recipes all gluten free and many dairy and soy free. Take a walk around.
  7. I called on Centrum Silver New Formulation. They stated that they do not add gluten, but they do not test either. I have had no issues. You can do a search here for more posts regarding Centrum.

  9. I am sorry that you and your daughter are going through such a difficult time. Which ever doctor said that Celiac does not cause pain, needs a new profession. There are many,many here that can attest to that. I am not sure that I can be of help, but have you checked your daughters meds to make sure that they are gluten free. In her fragile condition...

    That's an easy fix. Go to the upper right and click on the "options" box. Then click on "standard". That should do it and return you back to normal.
  11. Just got off the phone. A very pleasant representative confirmed that Smithfield NO LONGER adds wheat flour to their honey glaze. It is now considered gluten free. She will follow up with an e-mail to confirm. I will post when received. Happy Easter
  12. Joni, I think that some people are just super sensitive. I don't react any more and I never had the stomach pain when glutened, so I am a poor example to comment. But, my experience here does indicate that there are some people who will react to grain based vinegar and alcohol. Damage would be determined by having Celiac or an allergy/intolerance...

  20. I know there is a Trader Joe's in or near Williamsburg. They have many gluten free products. Williamsburg is wonderful for outlet shopping. We make our annual Christmas trip there. If you are going into the "Old Williamsburg" the Trellis Restaurant is familiar with eating gluten free and very helpful and knowledgeable.

  23. Board Head Meats and Cheeses are gluten free. Hillshire Farms sandwich meats are gluten free as are their sausages/hotdogs/brats EXCEPT for the Beer and Brats. But, as a disclaimer, always read the labels for yourself.
