    What bothers me the most is that the service community can be confused about selective ordering and medically restricted ordering. It deminished the importance when I order a salad without croutons and the previous person ordered the same but accepted the croutons.

    If my memory is correct, I believe Iams is gluten free, but you may want others to confirm that. And I use Arm&Hammer cat litter. It is something to be careful about, but personally, it's not high on my priorities. Why do they put wheat/barley in cat food. Never saw a cat grazing in a wheat field.

    I did not vote because I am only familiar with the CSA Product List. When I was first diagnosed, I went into the panic mode. I did order the CSA Product listing and was pleased at the time.     Hey Sandi, I just wanted to add that the gluten molecules are too large to be absorbed through the skin into your system. Gluten must be ingested for Celiacs to be symptomatic. Now, that doesn't mean that those with a gluten allergy will not be effected topically with a reaction. Meline, yes it is a very frustrating game.

    McCormicks will clearly list all forms of gluten. If you don't see it on the ingredients list, it is gluten free.

    I think that it's always useful to spell the Celiac vernacular out and also for the not-so-computer wise such as myself. I remember several times I refered to someone by what I thought was their name. They ended their post with TIA. I welcomed alot of TAI's.

    Maltdextrin in the US is generally dervied from corn. If it is derived from wheat it will say "Maltdextrin (wheat)". This is US FDA Law. If your label says Maldextrin and does not list wheat, it is gluten free.

    "Van's" Waffles are found in the frozen section in stores that carry this brand. They have several, but do have a glutenfree/wheat free.
