    Oh my gosh Kaiti, after reading that I wouldn't get one. I always worried about hep c from getting one. I know people say it won't happen but I know a lot of people that have tattoo's and now have hep. c. Too scary for me. I guess it goes back to each his/her own.

    I think AIDS, celiac anybody that thinks that any disease is worth ending a relationship should be kicked to the curb. I lost my brother to AIDS, and remember well how people reacted. I wouldn't have room for anyone like that in my life

    Oh sidore You can't eat gluten even after a year. If anything it will make you more sick because your body is not used to it. I am glad we have each other or statements like that will just make people sick

    Welcome Pharmer: I can only answer your questions with my own experience. It looks like your level would indicate celiac. For the biopsy to be accurate you would have to continue eating gluten.     I agree. I don't think the biopsy is necessary. I am not sure why they even do it if the numbers are positive. the only think I can think of is that they make more money? I hope that's not the case, it's just a thought.

    Holgate: What about natural foods? Fruit, vegetables etc.? It's just awful that it is so hard to find gluten-free food over there. It's difficult enough here, I can't even imagine. It seems like it would make a person not want to eat at all.

    I think that cheescake sounds great also. I saw a recipe to make one using pamelas cookies but I haven't tried it yet.

    If I were you Hermit I would just make sure you are gluten free. If it shows even a weak positive, if you had been off gluten it can show a normal blood test. It's "Trendy" to have celiac. It's statements like this that make my blood boil. It is also statements like this that make the medical profession look foolish. They might view it as trendy...
