  7. I saw only the first 15 minutes or so, but I did like how Dr. Oz showed how gluten causes an autoimmune (he used that word !) reaction and had animation of the intestine to illustrate. He stressed how serious this condition is, and the consequences that can occur if a Celiac does not stick to the gluten-free diet or is undiagnosed. He talked about symptoms...

  11. Definitely What works for me may not be the best solution for everyone. I think it's helpful though, to hear lots of scenerios and then pick and choose ideas and do what works best for you and your household. That's how I came to do what works for me--and for the record, I'm extremely sensitive. If I were being contaminated, I'd know it....and so would...
  12. We have a shared house too. My husband has cereals and crackers and things like that (already prepared) that contain wheat. I do all of the cooking, so all of the meals at home are gluten-free. I only buy/cook rice pastas and we both like the pancakes made with Gluten Free Pantry Pancake Mix. I don't keep wheat flour or "regular" baking mixes of any...

  20. Hi and welcome! The thing about this disease is that you will get a lot of different approaches since gluten affects us all a bit differently. Same internal mechanism, but widely different symptoms and rates of healing. My story in a nutshell is that I began having symptoms (nausea, persistant anemia) in my late 20's after the c-section birth of my...
