  6. Hi ciavyn, I eat a lot like you do now (minus the soy and legumes) but even though I tend towards diarrhea normally, this way of eating does the opposite for me. I also wondered about the soy, but since you were good with it before I don't know how changing everything "around" it would make a difference. It may be something to think about if all else fails...
  7. A big hamburger (no bread) and a big salad.
  8. Oscar Mayer (a Kraft company) will list any gluten in the ingredients--they don't hide it under "spices" for example.

    ARCHIVED Vinegar...

I use Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar--never a problem with it.
  10. Most of my symptoms were digestive, but I did have a lot of itching with no visible rash. What does you doctor think about the delayed reactions?
  11. I've gone back to low carb (no grain or added sugar). I did well with it in the past, but over time slowly incorporated more and more rice and corn and things made with those. My weight crept up again as did my blood pressure. I can just "tell" that I need to be eating this way.
  12. I'm thinking maybe a delayed reaction? I don't know, but isn't food intolerance a delayed allergic reaction--as opposed to an immediate one resulting in anaphylaxis? I underwent allergy skin testing that included foods (all negative), but my allergist suggested an elimination diet to figure it out.
  13. Hide the keys!!!!!!!!! A big ole Happy Birthday to W!
  14. Great news, Leese!!!! Congrats to them!
  15. Welcome back I think it's a very good idea to revisit the gluten free diet now that you have the MC under control to see if that might ease some of the anxiety and fibro pain. My anxiety lessened a great deal, but it was a gradual process. Hopefully someone more familiar with fibro will weigh in. There is a ton of info in the archives...
  16. Yes, it must be a new thing with the Clabbergirl. I haven't bought it in a long time since my grocery store has Argo. When last I read the Clabbergirl label, it just said "gluten-free". Thanks for calling that to our attention--and a good example of why we need to read labels everytime because ingredients and manufacturing practices can change
  17. All I can tell you is what I do. I've been at this for almost 6 years and right at the beginning made it clear that I would bring my own food. I simply told people that I was insanely sensitive, and that I didn't want to put them to the trouble of trying to cook for me. I was polite but firm--and after a few times everyone just accepted it and now...
  18. Open Original Shared Link All the way at the bottom.
