  1. Alterna has a new line of Organic products--some are gluten-free and are marked as such on the front of the package. I use their hair gel. I also use Giovanni Conditioner and gel. I like Garnier's 3 Minute Undo--a conditioning treatment I use several times a week. I am sensitive to many bottled shampoos (chemical) so I use natural shampoo bars.
  2. I was never on meds, but before I was diagnosed I was slightly in the low range on my thyroid numbers. They normalized after a few months gluten-free.
  3. Oven fried chicken with spinach risotto--all made in the oven. Easy with a quick clean-up
  4. I agree with this. I remember when I first went gluten-free--I was literally flying by the seat of my pants. My doctor sent me home with an ancient piece of paper that was typed on a typewriter with a list of foods to avoid and instructions to come back in 2 months. 17. When I was about 12, maybe, I killed my parents' washer. One of my many chores was to do the laundry and in those days, the machine could run the whole cycle with the lid open. I saw my mom run it this way many times, so didn't think anything of it. So, I was running a load and heard the most gawd awful banging--the jug of fabric softener had fallen in...
