  1. OK this has me intrigued, my ferratain has been 0-2 last few test. I know I get winded running more then across the street. I end up just having to power walk, resistance bands, weights, and exercise bike due to this. No supplements have seemed to help this
  2. I would honestly stick with whole foods and dedicated stuff like Gerbs seeds, granola, and dried fruits. But do check those grocery UPC list I had earlier as they had all the stuff those grocery stores have that is supposedly gluten-free in the entire stores including candies, nuts, seeds, etc. Always read the ingredients and warning labels as company s can...
  3. Have a nice listing here of different gluten free alternatives and where to get things, Also includes list for some major grocery stores gluten-free products list and UPC codes for ordering them from them. https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/117090-gluten-free-food-alternatives-list/

  5. Perhaps, I am sending it to a lab. I tested the Curry Flavor I got that also has vinegar and it came back negative. Retested the BBQ and it came back positive, low positive but positive. But your right I should hold off mentioning this til after we know for sure.
  6. First few packages were fine this last one got me, swollen lymph nodes first sign after tasting, a bit on my finger, Then I ran it in a tester the BBQ one from the date codes listed are not safe. MAR 04 2018 tested positive for gluten.

  8. Cough Drops have recently been having issues , SO tempted to use test strips to and start testing stuff for the community (Send the money tell me a brand and I will, I keep test strips for my bakery). Anyway I normally buy pacific bone broth from thrive or luckyvitamin who ever has it on sale. You can make your own by boiling the removed bones from meats...
  9. Nutra Key V-Pro and MRM Veggie Elite are both ones I use daily, Pumpkin Seed protein is amazing for recovery due to the fats, zinc, iron, etc. BCAAs will help prevent muscle breakdown so taking them during the night and between meals helps. I also eat a whole lot of fats from nuts, seeds, avocado. For chips I use Beanitos, they are gluten-free certified...
  10. I do better not eating carbs, just nuts, seeds, veggies, egg whites, (Can't do meats as they do not break down). Sugars seem to cause bloating grains bloating in fatigue Do sometimes treat myself to a few bean chips, or tiny bit of gluten-free rice or oats. Just check my profile for list of issues. Anyway my dietician told me to rotate my foods especially...
  11. All celiacs react differently, there are in fact I do think 3 classifications, one of which is even a silent celiac where they get the gut damage but no outward or hardly any noticeable symptoms. Some of us react immediately some withing a few hours to noticeable symptoms. Regardless we all have the immune response where our immune system goes on its internal...
  12. First welcome to the forums we are here to help. Sounds like celiac disease, you need to keep eating gluten to get tested, thankfully not much you only need to eat a cracker or a half slice of bread a day. You need to go to you doctors and see about getting the FULL celiac blood panel test done, they will then do a follow endoscope with biopsy to test...
  13. OH yeah a few useful links to help out https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/91878-newbie-info-101/ ^ Newbie help for those new to celiac disease https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/116482-supplement-and-foods-you-take/ ^ I posted and I suggest others to post what they take here to give others a idea of where to and what to supplement with...
  14. HotPot/Nabe basically a huge soup pot you provide the noddles, since your grain free, I would suggest Sea Tangle Kelp noodles, No Oodles, or Miracle noodles, or Miracle rice. Ask everyone else to bring "FRESH" veggies, meats etc. you see what they bring and you choose the seasoning that would accompany what gets brought. Used to do crazy mystery pots this...
  15. Well seeing some improvement is a good thing, As mentioned perhaps sweet potato instead if you can get it, just change them out. You can even bake the sweet potato and have it that way for a on the go meal, wrapping it in foil while baking and carefully unwrapping add another level of safety to CC. Might remove the rice, and stick to the sweet potatoes for...
  16. Yeah the test will show normal on a gluten-free diet cause there is no gluten for the body to react to....Your a celiac, Anyway how is that elimination diet working. Mucus and joints and neck issues under control on the broth and potato only diet so far? Or did something happen and you get off the elimination diet. I still think you might be having a reaction...
  17. My bring fog got so terrible, my mind would start looping like a broken record on things, things I should know how to do I could not do them, I knew I should but it would not come to me and the issue would loop. I would forget the oddest of things, and get angry and scared. I did a a post on it coming out about it here https://www.celiac.com/forums...
  18. I personally use nut, bean, and oat based flours, I can not do starches very well and have a corn allergy. I will PM you a few recipe pages. Currently working on a few paleo recipes for my bakery, I been sharing food alternatives here https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/117090-gluten-free-food-alternatives-list/ Feel free to add links and info on some...
  19. I myself suffer from extreme issues with how celaic effects my nervous system, I have suffered brain damage, nerve damage, loss of feeling in my hands and feet etc. When I get glutened it gets worse, 2 times I can recall where I lost full motor control and was on the floor. Since you seem to be new to this I will share a few links https://www.celiac...
  20. Yep, the mechanical sorting GF process for their oats is not very effective, and the testing they do is hit and miss. Also some Celiac's react bad to oats no matter what. For me the GF Cheerios mode me sick, and I would not trust and GF cereal from that company. Now Van's O cereal substitute is GF and has not made me sick, I keep a box in house for a friend...
  21. I been off of real sugars for awhile, I just do not digest them well, 1-2 dates, 1/2 oz of fruit seems fine or 1-2 tbsp of carbs like beans, more then this and I bloat, get painful gas, and feel lazy, I will admit that sweet tooth craving issues are extreme with me but I have other issues with internal bleeding etc that lead to cravings. I turned to xylitol...
  22. Yep, you should see my hands, I cook a lot and burn myself often and hardly notice it so they are quite damaged. I believe it is refereed to as peripheral neuropathy, it it present all the time with me but spikes in what I can feel when glutened. Best way to describe it is I have no surface feeling to my hands, I can feel deep tissue pressure, and if I touch...
  23. I am unsure where they source their oats, if they use the mechanical sorting method then I would not trust them. Some celiacs react to oats regardless of gluten in them or not. Since your child is just 3 your might be better off playing it safe for a few more years and sticking to safe grain free treats like Enjoy Life bars and cookies, Gerbs Dried Fruits...
  24. EU where he is from it is common for caramel coloring to use wheat not corn. and oddly enough it can sometimes be processed in a way in which the proteins that cause the ill effect are removed and sometimes not. So playing it safe he should stay away from it the guy seems to by hyper sensitive, much like me, I can get sick from residue cross contamination...
  25. We all deal with this to some degree, my reactions are so bad I would not enter a pizzeria for fear of the flour in the air (I have reacted to inhaled flour on multiple occasions). But yes people do not under stand things unless they themselves have experienced or they some come how have a relations to it. Most people who consider wheat a daily thing in their...
