Yeah....why not just start out with the worst ones. :P

  so very true

Well I just got an email from Anna. She said she'd email me the stuff she tested today because there was NO way I'd ever remember, lol.

I was wrong about the DMSA, I could handle 1000 mg TWICE A DAY, lol!!

DMPS was only 200 mg per day

then she has tDMPS which I think is a typo (I think this was supposed to be glutathione) was 1/2 tsp twice daily

TTFD (??? don't know what this is, lol) okay

Malic acid only 100 mg once a day

    EDTA 600 mg twice daily

    So overall not bad. :)

  2. GREAT BIOSET APPT TODAY :D

I'm pretty excited, lol. When I saw Dr. S last month, he wanted me to ask Anna if they could test for the chelators. I'm going in once per month just for stuff like this. :P So today she tested me for the most used and the stuff they put in IVs. I tested fairly well for almost all of it, but DMSA was the best. She said I could take 1000 mg per day of that. I could also take EDTA, and did well with glutathione. DMPS was the lowest, but I could take that in small doses.

I told her that Dr. S was really reluctant to start any kind of chelation because of the mold situation, so she rechecked my toxicity, and EVERYTHING IS HOLDING AT ZERO!!! All the toxicity scores were 0!!! Yay.

She wants me to continue on all the drainage stuff she put me on last time, at least for a while.

She really wants me to continue the Serra Peptase for the lyme. She also really wants me to take magnesium and molybdenum.

So, I'm pretty excited to see Dr. S next month!! Hopefully he'll at least let me to a little challenge. :)

  3. Okay girls...don't be afraid to mix those wild colors.

I went ahead and tapped out just a few grains of the Mojave Camping blush with quite a bit more Car Pool. It was kind of a smokey lilac...very nice. I put that on the crease and corner of my eyes. Looks VERY nice if I do say so myself. I got to thinking that it might also make a nice blush, but had already put on blush for today. I didn't measure exactly on this mix, but there literally was only one small spot of the mojave (as if it had come out of only one of the little holes), lol.

I finished that up with some mystic night eyeliner...looks very good.

I'm going through all my eye colors again...now that I have the new brushes, it seems to put the color on differently, so I'm revisiting everything to make sure I still like what I liked and still don't like what I don't like. So far, I still love Ginger Peach, Ping Pong, Gingerbread Man and Autumn Afternoon, but just so so on Spin Cycle and Good China...those two were my favorites before.

Donna! What has happened to you????? Have you finally purchased everything???

I guess you'll have to wait for the new website to come out. Hopefully they will have lots of new fabulous things. :D

This is shocking. Are you sure you don't need some duplicates?

I guess I HAVE purchased everything, lol. I don't want to wait for the next special...I want to be a good cult member and buy now and buy later, lol. Currently I have a free sample kit in my cart plus two of the empty jars. I tried putting in a personal mini kit yesterday, but could only find three things I might want to try. Sad, but true  Must go look when I'm done here to see if the new website is up yet.

Am I the only one that likes the new special??? I think the peach lip color and face color (like silk dust, right?) will be very nice. The 5% stinks, but I'm ordering this time. Just need to figure out if I want to wait until the Baby Kabuki comes in on the 20th or order now and get the Angled Blush Brush!

I actually want the special too. I want to try the lip gloss but don't want to buy it. I haven't loved their lip glosses yet, and this one looks promissing. If I could just think of something else to buy, lol.

Bleah. Was thinking of maybe making hot lemonade? Add some stevia or xylitol to the hot lemon water.

Yeah, Stevia in anything hot = blech for me  Hope that goes well for you! :P Hot lemonade sounds good though...my mom used to give it to me with a little honey when I was young and didn't feel well. Since I'm not following the candida diet strictly I've been using a little Agave nectar, but I'll have to give that up shortly. :(

  5. Kassandra,

I take PectaSol from DeeCee labs (which uses EcoNugenics Pectasol). I first got this in my HN doctor's office, but it was around $180 for 16 oz (just powder...not capsules). They wanted me to take it while I was having my amalgam's removed...I did and continued for over a year to take it everyday. The last 4 months or so I've been taking a month break in between each jar. I found the same thing on Amazon for about $147. Just this morning I was trying to think how long it lasts me. Probably a couple of months.

Does anyone take modified citrus pectin? Does it need to be taken away from things?

I do (well, I'm out now, but will be ordering again soon--the brand I take is wildly expensive). I take it with some other things about 30 minutes before I eat, but no one said to do that...it's just convenient that way. It's a binder, sort of like chlorella, but not as bad as charcoal I think.

  7. Ha, well I sort of want the new special, but I can't think of enough to buy right now in order to get it, lol. Who knew I would run out of things to buy?! I know, shockes, amazes and astonishes even me.

ETA: Almost forgot my brilliant idea I had in the middle of the night last night. Not only am I going to mix foundations colors...but I think I'm going to do the same with eye colors. There are several that I probably won't wear much if at all and I'm thinking I can mix them with something else. I think my first combo might be one of the light blue eyeshadows with mojave camping blush. Now, all I need to do it get me some more small containers. Must do that this weekend.

  8. I'm still scared of the blues, lol. I did try one of them, but haven't tried the other yet. :P

The other one I was afraid of trying was Anytime blush as an eyeshadow. It was too pale and chocky as a blush for me, but I thought it was too pretty to get rid of, so been meaning for weeks now to try it as an eyecolor...

Today was the day! :P Looks very nice as an allover base color on the eyes. It still got a bit chocky, but that's because I kept putting more on. If I'd stopped after two layers it would have been perfect. Evenso, when I put on Snowflakes in the crease and at the corners it all looked great. Finished that off with a little Mystic Nights as a liner. I got my purple on today!

The other experiment today was my own mix of foundation. I've got several colors that are too dark and several that are too light, so decided to pair them up and see what happens. Today's mix: Golden Fawn Matte with Olive Golden Medium Intensive. Did a 50/50 mix (used a measuring spoon so I could recreate if necessary, lol).

Looks very nice...very good match for my facial skin, but not sure it's an exact match for my neck...must check that out later in good natural light. Didn't use any concealors or finishing/silk powder/dust, so I could get an accurate opinion on the color match. Next test will be to use it with concealor, and then with finishing dust.

I'm also considering actually mixing in a little concealor into the foundation mix...considering. :P

This weekend I MUST go get more empty jars, lol.

Still no update on the specials or new website...anxiously awaiting both. :P

  9. Laurie, I don't always feel that feeling worse is a good sign, but for some reason when I read that some of your symptoms came back, it sounded good in your case. The antibiotics are most likely getting some of the bugs, which is stirring up the candida, so the worsening symptoms (in this case) actually sound like things are working. That's just my non-expect thought, but sounds a bit encouraging to me. Sorry about the C though!

  10. Okay, so after watching my recording of the last hour of last night's performances, I want two things for next week...

I want Amanda to sing a nice bluezy ballad and Ramiele to rock out, lol.

Don't get me wrong, I like Amanda and like her style, but I'm really wanting to see something a little different from her, and I want Ramiele to break loose and really rock out, lol.

  11. Yeah, I got Scott's newsletter but haven't printed or read it yet.

Forgot to say welcome to ItchyGirl! Welcome!!

I had to do 100 grams of fat a day for three days before the test and 100 grams a day for the three days of the test. The only way I could do that much fat was to eat whole cartons of haagen daz! Have you had an MRCP with secretin? Or just the HIDA test?

Egads, I eat 100 grams of fat nearly every day! :o

Running shoes all laced up. :P

  12. Forgot to address the layers question! I think I put on one main layer plus some sweeps. What I do is tap out some minerals, swirl my brush, start buffing it on one section of my face, then lightly buff over the rest of my face. I repeat the process but start on a different part of my face. I repeat one more time on yet another part of my face...so it usually goes right cheek area sweeping down to my neck and all over my face, then left cheek area sweeping down my neck and all over my face, then forehead area sweeping down to temples and nose and all over my face. Clear as mud?!

I'm sure you have noticed the swapping/trade threads on the EM boards for colors that just don't work for you??

Yes, but I have a quirky little thing about using things that strangers have used, lol. The quirkiness even sometimes extends to long-time friends, depending on which long-time friend it is. :P Also have that same sort of quirkiness about library books. :P:ph34r:

  13. New Love:

    Donna  tinted silk dust

    Donna  flat top brush

    Old Love:

    Donna  Gingerbread Man

    Donna  Ginger Peach

    Donna  Samba Lessons

    Donna  train case

Donna  the world. OT is done, slept well, and all is right with the world. :P

Tried Ivory in the matte forumation today. Probably not a keeper, but it doesn't look bad. This will probably be one I put into the gianormous foundation mix of under used colors. :)

Text Message...not bad. Put on with a very light touch and it looks fine, but I have so many other colors I love, so probably will not buy a full size of this one.

My fun goal for today is to set up my at work kit. Lucky for me I have a plethora of totes that I've outgrown to use. :P
