do you think it was the b-12 shot that got you all dizzy, maybe you should only have one a week.
Yeah, I thought of this. It didn't seem to make me hyper, but maybe this is how it manifests itself. I'll have to keep track of this.
-
I think I sleep pretty good with the charcoal too, I am noticing. I don't take it every night though.
Yeah, if my doctor is right and I'm waking up so much because of my liver (and that DOES make sense), then maybe taking the charcoal in the middle of the night when my liver is trying so hard to detox is helping mop up some stuff that's floating around in there, and thereby taking some of the stress off.

STOP THAT!!
How will I know what to order if you keep changing your favorites!!??!!
-
Julie, don't know about the finishing dust...I'm thinking of getting some pretty quickly though because if they discontinue it, I'll not get a chance to try it. Course that could be bad too if I like them.
The "dusts" seem to have neat things added like "amino acids".
Not sure why you need those on your skin, but hey, sounds good.

Glad to hear you're going to try to kick the melatonin. My dr told me that long-term use of melatonin can shrink the pituitary(? or was it pineal? one of those P-glands in the brain). He gave me some, but said to only take it a maximum of 2-3 times a week. Still haven't taken it.
Do you drink salt water? It might help with the dizzy/vertigo. Hope that sensation doesn't last. That would suck.
Gives new meaning to the term "p(ea)-brain".
I don't drink salt water, but I get SOOOO much salt in my diet, it's hard to imagine it could be lack of salt. I literally salt just about everything. I used to get the dizzy/nausea feeling all the time. Last year sometime it stopped and I only get it ocassionally now. That used to be one of my most troubling symptoms. It literally has been months since it happened regularly...it's happened a few odd times in the last few months.

Okay, LOVING what I've tried so far from the new order.
First...Sunlight concealor. LOVE IT! I can't take away my bags, but did a great job at lessening the dark spots underneath them, lol. I also used it on my eyelids because the skin there always looks a bit dark and my eyes are deeper set. Made a big difference...and I'm not even wearing any other eye stuff today...just a little foundation over the concealor.
Second...Pink Ribbon Blush. May be my NEW FAVORITE, lol. Love this. In the jar it looks like a nice light pink. It looked slightly darker once I shook some out onto my margerine lid, lol, but on it's a perfect pink for me.
Third...Natural Reflections Fair finishing powder. LOVE IT!
I never really liked BE mineral veil because I could always "see" it on my skin...my face looked a bit ghostly with it on...I see that they have a tinted one now, and maybe I would have liked that if I didn't start breaking out with BE stuff, but this...this is just about perfect. I can't "see" it at all, but it has given me a nice softer look. LOVE IT! I used it with the brush that came originally with my mineral veil...nice big fluffy retractable brush.
I also tried a little experiment which didn't quite work. I've been reading the EM forum and there is a thread about making your own lip gloss. You mix a little of the minerals into some vaseline or oil. I tried it with the Pink Ribbon and coconut oil and it was a little too liquidy, so it didn't quite work, but I could tell that THAT would have been a PERFECT pink lip gloss for me.
I have some vaseline at home, but there's no way I'd put anything from THAT container on my mouth, lol. At one time I used vaseline on my feet, and well, double dipped, lol. So I'll pick up a new container this weekend and I think that will work perfectly for the lip gloss thing...can't wait to try it.
My husband and I have a date night Sat. (with his x-wife and her husband.....I know, I know....but we all get along very well and it has always made it so easy for my step-daughter)....anyway I always like to look my best on those nightsAs much as I like her it always feels better to be cuter..LOL
another date night!
It's like I am not wearing any make up anymore after a few hours. It's literally like it soaks into my skin. Its' very strange. I used to have this happen with my liquid foundation also, so I don't think it's specific to EM, but it's just annoying. If I go out all day, I look like I forget to get ready in the morning! LOL!Wow! I'm wondering if a "primer" would stop that from happening...EM is working on one I think. I know there are some others out there, but don't know what's in them. Trying to think of something else that could sort of be a barrier of sorts....can't think of any at the moment.

Morning all.
I ended up NOT going to rehearsal last night...was all set to go, put on my coat and gloves, then started feeling dizzy and nauseated, so took off the coat and gloves and layed down...started feeling better, so got up and put the coat and gloves on, and started feeling dizzy and weird again, so gave up and just layed on the couch!
But, all that confusion and undecisiveness caused a couple of things to happen. I completely forgot to take my melatonin last night. I take a bunch of it, and my doctor wants me to take a trial period off of it, but I've been afraid, lol. I've been sleeping fairly well and didn't want to mess it up--I still wake up every hour after midnight, but I go back to sleep quickly, which is great.
Well, it took me slightly longer to get to sleep, but I slept pretty well! Woke up around 1:30 (great because I've been waking up around 12:30 for several weeks now), went to the bathroom got back in bed and fell asleep...COMPLETELY forgot to take my charcoal, which is something else I had convinced myself was helping me sleep, lol. I usually take that the first time I wake up which is when I usually go to the restroom.
So, I'm going to try at least a couple of days a week without all the melatonin and see what happens. Then maybe I'll increase the days off of it a little at a time.
Kassandra,
Great news about your brother!
AND, about your picc-less shower, lol!
Lisa,
Congratulations on 7 days without ice cream...I agree...get back on that ice cream wagon!
Mia,
Yep I've had that type of sonogram too...NOT fun, lol!
As for the bathroom...I usually go everyday, anywhere from 1-5 times. Lately though I've had quite a few days (not in a row) where I don't go at all. I think the Humaworm killed off some pesky thing that helped the D along.
Susie,
Sounds like a GREAT phone consult!!!!
Amen, sisters! ... then if they DO provide the services you paid for, you must pay again- deductible and copays. It's utterly crooked, evil, and wrong. People are dying everyday because of this, right here in America.AND, then they raise your RATES!!! Stupid evil insurance companies!!
-
OMGosh, yes my heart was breaking for Temptress...that was truly sad and touching.
I only watched the first half...went to bed at 9:00.
I recorded it so I can watch the rest and speed through as appropriate.
-
All is well...my leg hurts less and it's still attached to my body.
Kassandra,
I asked whether I should do it in the morning or afternoon and they said it didn't matter. I've been getting them in the office at around 3:00 and it hasn't seemed to make things any worse than they are sleep wise, lol. Course tonight will be a bad sleep night anyway because I have ensemble practice at 9:00 tonight. Uggg.
Paula,
Hope you are right about the smoking, lol.
-
Well, you tried Nyxie!
Yay, Sherry's in the USA, lol.
Okay, so here's a little know factoid about me. I am a total and absolute KLUTZ. Sometimes I get by in life with the klutz trait barely noticable, and other times, like today...fear for your life.
So, I'm getting my shot stuff ready...feeling really nervous about the whole thing. I get everything ready...making sure everything is sterile, I've drawn the stupid medicines, trying to mix the two and get out any air bubbles, and...
I DROP THE STUPID SYRINGE!!!! Yep, down there on my mold filled carpet. I stared at it for a couple of minutes and decided nothing was going to change about the situation, so, I trashed the thing. Doh, I could have just changed the needle, didn't have to throw away the whole thing. Course, I didn't realize that until AFTER I dropped the thing and THEN pulled out the instructions.
THe instructions say clearly that if the needle tip touches anything you can't use it, but you can change the tip. Anyway, I was so darned flustered that I forgot and injected a little of the one medicine into the other bottle. YIKES. It wasn't much though and gotta take both anyway, but you just shouldn't do it, lol.
Good news is I didn't want to pass out, lol, but my leg hurts...probably just because I've convinced myself that I did it all wrong and my leg will now fall off.

All insurance companies are evil.
-
Yeah, we've had a little of that date stuff mentioned on here before...apparently SOME husbands really like the new mineral look.
-
Well both of those can be kind of harsh in their own way. Caprylic acid is a pretty strong antifungal and the psyllium is very strong and bothers lots of people, but it really sounds like more like an allergic reaction.
I take caprylic acid and I've taken psyllium in the past. If I have reactions, they are usually in the gut.

I had to make it 30 in order to get the discount u know lol.
Wish I DIDN'T know!!!!
I know all too well.
Then i had to get it shipped dhl, cause the regualr mail wasnt available this time, which sucks since i know i get it fast that way, but oh well now i wont be so nekkid now with only half em products lolDHL was pretty darned fast this time...I ordered on Friday and it was delivered today.
What does everyone do for eyelashes.Well, I just bought two new mascaras and the one I'm wearing today is NOT going to be one I wear often, lol. So, can't help you there, lol.
-
I'm wearing comfy today...it looks copper in the jar, but it's smokey brown on me with just a touch of copper sparkle at certain angles.
I just got exhale in today's shipment so haven't tried it yet....it's a fairly medium to dark brown with some reddishness to it (in the jar...it will probably look totally different on, lol).
I LOVE the smokey eyeliner.
Some of the other ones are in my NEXT 10 mini kit which is in my cart as we speak.
-
Paula...I won't post how I like them until I actually wear them...I'm finding that how they look in the jar isn't necessarily a good indicator of how they look on me.
New Car Smell look peach to me, but it's a nice light shade so might not be TOO peach. Favorite Hoodie looks interesting and I can't wait to try it.
And, for some reason I'm really excited to try the Cypress and Pressed Olive eye shadows...I don't wear green so not sure how this will look, lol.
I think Pink Ribbon might be a very nice color...may wear that tomorrow.
-
Gosh Kassandra, I don't know...how does it not look good...does the color change? or does it get shiney, or lose color? I can see that Mango answered you...maybe a finishing dust would help as she suggested.
-
OMGosh
they just delivered my box. I am so excited...I haven't even really looked at the colors YET, but they sent the regular eye shadow BRUSH!!!! Yay! I thought I was getting another angled brush, but YAY, got the regular brush. That ALONE is worth the wait, lol. They also sent another liner brush...can't have too many of those, and of course the fan brush.
Okay, without flipping over the next roll of the tissue, Pink Ribbon looks to be a very nice pink. Corner Office looks a bit dark but a nice color overall. The natural reflections looks like a nice color for the finishing dust.
Smokey Pink doesn't look very pink, lol. More mauve, but a nice smokey color.
Okay, turning the tissue now...
Holy COW, did I order TWO 10 mini eyeshadows??? I've most certainly got 20 eyeshadows here, lol. NO wait...they mixed in the sampler kit with the eyeshadows, lol. Phew! I thought for a minute I got someone else's order.
It should be illegal to have this much fun!
Okay back in a little while once I've really looked at the eye colors.
-
Ooooh, I misspoke...I'll have all the eyecolors after I hit CHECKOUT, lol.
-
First I'm going to see how I like the EM pressed powder, b/c I hear that gives really amazing coverage, but I dunno...I might have to venture out and *gasp* try another brand!
LOL
{{{{GASP}}}}
Actually, I've also been looking at the minerals that Susie posted about a few pages ago...they have some really fun colors. BUT, I've been holding back until I get all the eye colors from EM...which should be in about 30 minutes, max.
-
OMGOSH, my order is SOMEWHERE in the building, lol! Status just changed to delivered (with a time of about 20 minutes ago).
Hot dang...now I just have to try to be patient...or will I hunt it down. Patient. Hunt down.
Hunt down or lazy.

I go back and forth on Simon, sometimes I think he is over the top and obnoxious, out of line even, and sometimes I think he is right on with his opinions.
In the special that we were talking about above, Randy said something about this... The interviewer asked something about Simon's comments and Randy said something like. Yeah, but you know that whatever it is that Simon said, at least half the people watching are thinking the same thing. I had to agree with that, lol. I think sometimes the personal comments (i.e., like weight) are harsher than they need to be.

I am totally drawing a blank on who Melinda is
She is the one who always looked TOTALLY shocked whenever the judges said something good about her. I think she toned that down in the last few shows though.
-
have to let my husband get over this order first
!!! That is too funny! OMGosh, you just went for it didn't you!
So, my order has been just sitting at the dhl facility near my house for over 24 hoursand the wesite says it will be delivered to me tomorrow.
I ended up right behind a dhl van yesterday on my way home from work, and I thought maybe it was my stuff
. It got all the way to my street and then kept going
I'm kind of bummed too, b/c I just went to the dermo, and she said nothing can be done for my acne scars
I guess it's eight layers of EM everyday for the rest of my life
Oh well! lol
Big bummer all the way around--sorry about the scars!
I HATE when there is a delivery truck in front of me...or worse, I can hear it coming down the street, and look longingly outside and it keeps going (but THAT was back in the day when I could have it delivered to my home, lol). Now, I just have to get excited about the "with delivery courier" message.

Ha, I was going to mention this but I tend to be a video maniac, so was afraid, lol. I have over 200 excercise videos and yes, it's a great way to learn correct form (mostly, lol) and technique.
I've ordered LOTS of stuff from collage, and yes, love those clips.
YES!!!!
