  1. Yeah this stuff is great because it does not even feel like you are wearing makeup. You can also mix and match shades if you need a customized color for your skin. I just use one though (fairly light) and it works great. My skin is covered in acne scars and the foundation provides coverage and does not make me break out. You can buy a trial pack that comes...
  2. This is so intriguing to me. I can't believe how much toxic junk is hidden in our body care products. I've been switching to more organic brands lately and all sorts of weird skin problems I have have been going away..... I've been using Aubrey Organics Rosa Mosqueta shampoo. I actually really like it, especially compared to other natural shampoos...
  3. Thanks for the suggestions Juliem. I can't wait to try these places out...and I really can't wait to drag my friends around to all of these gluten-free places! It'll be a great opportunity to prove to them that I do in fact eat food!
  4. It can be made with cornstarch instead of flour. I had it that way once and couldn't even tell the difference.
  5. OMG I'm going to Denver in a few weeks. I had NO idea that place existed! Yay! I clicked on the link and they have dairy-free options too. Thanks for the info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is their cafe all gluten-free too?????????
  6. Yeah I believe it was hydrogenated. Hydrogenated coconut oil is nothing like the pure organic real stuff. There were studies done years and years ago that determined coconut oil was harmful, but the studies used hydrogenated oil.
  7. There's always a risk of CC whenever you buy a packaged product, but I do trust Amy's. I believe they take precautions when it comes to CC. If you do react, take into consideration that it could be from the dairy (if you are just now reintroducing it) or the soy.
  8. I do fine with Amy's.
  9. If I understand correctly I think the dizziness is caused by too much potassium. I don't know if there's a connection between low blood pressure and high potassium, or if both cause dizziness. I'll need to look into this more. Okay I just searched and it appears that low blood pressure is associated with high potassium, which makes sense. Hmmm...
  10. It happened to me constantly when I was on Yasmin bc pills. It got to the point where I thought it was normal. But then it got really intense to the point where standing up was completely unbearable , so I switched to a different brand of bc pills. Now the coconut water is causing the exact same effect. The only connection I can think of is the potassium...
  11. Thanks for the insight. I better not have a coconut allergy That would be tragic
  12. Hmmm...It says 14g of sugars. The only ingredient is coconut water. I didn't think of that though. It's a really strange dizzy. It's very intense and I black out for a second when I stand up.
  13. Coconut water is apparantly very high in potassium. I've been drinking ONE Coconut water for the past few days and it's been making me really dizzy. It's the same feeling I used to get when I was on Yasmin, which apparantly alters your potassium levels as well. Does this mean my potassium levels are too high? Is it something to be concerned about...
  14. I cook mine for a little longer than it says to. You can really cook Tinkyada for a long time before it gets soggy.
  15. I pop popcorn with it too (separate jar in the kitchen of course ). It is amazing as a moisturizer though!
  16. 17. Cool! Thanks! I think I'll try more of thier makeup. I really like the masacara becasue it doesn't smudge or irritate my eyes at all...although I do find it doesn't quite wash off as easily as they say it does. But hey, it's gluten-free, so I won't complain!
  18. I know that foundation is the best! I use Ecco Bella mascara, which is great. I haven't verified with the company that it's gluten-free, but it only has a few straightforward ingredients so I think it's okay. Open Original Shared Link
  19. BE face powder gives you lots and lots of coverage. I am a huge fan
  20. California Baby is definitley free of gluten. I use it myself sometimes www.californiababy.com
  21. That's true. In the context of human evolution, people have only been eating wheat for a very short period of time. It's not a natural food for humans to consume.
  22. No water???? That guys sounds psycho. I agree on the avocado idea. It sounds strange but scrambled eggs with avocado is really good and filling too.
  23. I just have to announce that I finally found the best "natural" deodorant. Yay. Aubrey Organics E Plus High C is awesome. Yes, it is sad that I'm excited about a deodorant related discovery, but I was about to resort to the nasty aluminum stuff again before I found this one The grain alcohol in it is derived from corn, and the stuff acutally works for...
  24. Or you could buy chocolate Almond Breeze. It is goooood!
