  1. I've used the wilton paste and it works really well. I use to no taste red. Like another poster said... you will need a lot. Good Luck
  2. That is wonderful...congratulations.
  3. Thanks for the tip. I'm sure Toronto will have an hispanic store somewhere.
  4. Hi, You have been given some great advice already. I don't have much to add. Our favorite brands are Tinkinyada pasta, Kinnickinick breads, cookies, bagels, El Peto pancake mix. Good Luck Natalie
  5. Hi, My daughter was diagnosed 1 1/2 years ago. We were just at a pediatrician appointment last week. She still seems " slow" compared to her brother, she just can't keep up. I asked the doc about this. He said it can take up to 3 years to heal muscle wasting completely and get the vitamins back into her body. I was shocked. Does your hubby seem a...

That sucks. Did you get to eat eventually?
  7. It is wonderful when you have a good experience with your doctor. Glad it went well.
  8. What about a smoothie? Use fresh strawberries, banana, lactose free milk or a juice, ice cubes and drizzle a little flax seed or I use lemon fish oil ( I can't taste it at all), add some ground Lame Advertisement. They can be very filling and delicious.
  9. I had negative blood work but a positive biopsy. It depends how bad you want a firm diagnosis. If you are happy to just go on the gluten-free diet and avoid the doctors then try it out. Natalie
  10. That cake sounds great. I hope the Whole Foods in Canada sells it. Regarding my niece, my SIL is only half way with her allergy. Whenever she is in a tough situation she gives in and lets her have milk, or ice cream etc. Last year my niece was gluten free, now she is not . My daughter finds this confusing.
  11. I have always wondered if I had fibro, but now I think it may just be the celiac. I have not noticed a huge improvement in my symptoms yet ( 3 weeks gluten-free.)
  12. Most Celiacs have either the DQ2 or DQ8 gene. If you don't have either of those genes you most likely wouldn't have celiac. Entrolab offers it, it is a cheek swab.

I know exactly how you feel. Sorry you are having a tough time right now.
  14. I am newly diagnosed as well. I have felt extreme fatigue for so long. Not noticing much of a change yet.
  15. I had both. My entrolab numbers are listed below. I had negative blood work but a positive biopsy. Have you thought of having the genetic test?
  16. My daughter loves Frosted Perky O's... they are gluten-free.
  17. I hope I can find this in Canada so I can give it a try.
  18. How long did it take for your symptoms to got away?
  19. I'm happy if someone remembers mine as well!!
  20. It is easy to follow. I would practice using the tips and mixing icing if you get a chance. Spray the pan really well so the cake doesn't stick.
  21. mmmmm... cheesecake with a brownie crust, now I'm drooling
  22. Thanks for letting me know how you handle the allergies. I like the idea of "everyone is different". Thanks for that. It is hard to know what to do and say sometimes.
  23. Hi Jenny, Thanks so much for the recipe. It sounds great and I'll definitely give it a try. Here is the link for Wilton shaped pans, scroll down and you will find "Lightning McQueen from Cars Cake Pan" Open Original Shared Link I have made tons of cakes with these pans. They give you all of the instructions of how to mix the icing and...
