  1. I agree with you on this. My fiance is the same way, he needs to stop smoking and I know he could if he gave it his all or had the willpower.
  2. Actually Angie, you bring up a very valid concern. Today there are so many people who for medical reasons are on special diets. I bet you are more aware of this now since you and Tori are gluten free. You are right he probably will enjoy the basket. It is a good point though. One I would not have thought of.
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I hope they get some different packaging, it would be a lot easier especially for people just going gluten free.
  4. SweetFudge, I am so sorry that he doubts you. This is the last thing you need right now, especially after all the stress you are getting from the job. My best advice to you is sit down and have a very serious discussion with him. Tell him how bad you feel when he doubts you. it may take you a lot longer until you feel much better on the diet, I am not sure...
  5. Thanks for posting the list.
  6. Wow, 1st day of school!!! Boy she is growing up So, how long does she have to eat gluten?
  7. Happy Birthday!!!! Hope you do something real fun today!!!
  8. I actually do not use them, I have experience with Giant (PA-harrisburg area) not sure if that is the same Giant or not...there are quite a few in this area, MD and PA. Many of our stores had recently remodeled and there have been organic areas put in and those have gluten free options now. Hope that helps. Which area in MD are you? If you are near Hunt...
  9. I would go and also demand the copy of the result. You should have had results by now. Even if there were problems with the samples, they would have known by now and had to call you to tell you.
  10. Glad to hear Ozzfest rocked! It sounds like you had a lot of fun Jesse.
  11. I think I may have gotten lost...do you have problems with gluten? If so, how can you eat wheat?
  12. I second the enema option. I would take the laxative as well, but the enema will clean out the lower end at least and get some things moving again. 14 days, that may mean there is a lot of waste backed up. I would also put in a call to your Dr for other opinions and options. Do you take imodium alot?
  13. Thank you for this information. It is very helpful.
  14. LOL!!!! Those are such cute jokes. What is a ghost's favorite sport? Boo-ball!
  15. Shan- good to hear things are going a bit better for you. I know the first few weeks/months are rough. Hope things continue to do well!
  16. I check this site, because there are really neat recipies on here, I am not sure if you had gotten into the baking or making new things but we have some very talented members. I also come on here for the friends I have made. This is a great place. The information that you can go away from here with is almost better than any list. Especially since quite a...
  17. When I go to Coldstone which is usually during the winter months since I love going to the Ice Cream stand near us when it is open for the season. At Coldstone I get the Vanilla ice cream with the raspberrys and blueberries. I always ask for a clean scoop. I have not had a problem yet. I don't go too often though.
  18. That sounds very tasty!
  19. I believe many members on this board go to Carrabba's frequently. I am not too close to one or I would go try it out. They are an Outback chain, and I have always had good service at Outback.
  20. Thanks for sharing the article, it was a good read.
  21. I always get Boar's Head and ask them to clean the slicer, they are always more than happy to do that. Just go to the deli when either it first opens or at a less busy time. It is worth it, I love Boar's head.
  22. Hi, I am not sure if this was the case for you or not, but I learned from quite a few members on this board that some places (not sure which ones) use pancake batter for their omlets and scrambled eggs. I guess it makes them fluffier. I ate at Perkins 2 weeks ago, and they do not use this practice. That could be what made you sick. I know I would have...
  23. LOL, I just edited the post. I am trying to post and my Maine Coon cat loves my lap top anymore, so as I am typing he is stepping on the keys and I am trying to shoo him off....
