  1. Hi Amanda, I hope your kitty is feeling better. I know how hard it is to worry about your fuzzy little friend. We had a scare with our kitten and the contaminated food this week. When glutened...Our daughter gets headache, stomach ache, leg cramps, extremely moody, complains about everything, D (sometimes), dry sticky eyes, it is a nightmare....so anyway I think this disease can bring on all sorts of symptoms. Trust your instinct and don't let people break you down. You know your childs behavior better than anyone else...

My son's skin was breaking out because of gluten in soaps (i think mainly oats) so we stay away from gluten in the bathroom as well as in the kitchen!! ivory bar soap Crest for kids Arm & hammer Peroxi Care toothpaste Burts Bees Grapefruit Shampoo California Baby bubble bath (very pricey) but I love this stuff Burts bees...

  7. You can make a really great stuffing using the Vans waffles. My gluten-free hubby says it's the closest to stove top taste he's had!! Cali
  8. These are my daughter Abby's favorite cracker, the almond nut thins and the cheese nut thins. She seems to eat them without any problems. We also love Glutino crackers, they are the most like a real ritz type of cracker. Cali

  11. I believe Yummy bears and Gummy vites are two different companies. My kids love both. The Yummy bears are a little more expensive here in Massachusetts. Cali
  12. I'm not going to take a chance now. I'll never be able to sit down to Christmas dinner and relax knowing there is a chance my family will be sick!! I saw a boars head ham at the store that I am going back to get right now. It said gluten free right on the label. The only problem is it was $30...yikes. Merry Christmas!!

Hi We use Skippy pnut butter Hellmans mayo Edy's has a great website clearly listing everything Gluten free...I believe they have some fruitty popsicle bars that are safe...check out www.edys.com go to the product you want and it says gluten free under the nutrition info for that product. I do still eat gluten, but I am so careful not to contaminate any surfaces or use any of the same appliances or pots and pans...even utensils.   19. We love Glutino bagels in our house!! We eat them at least twice a week. This may sound silly, but how do you pop them in the toaster without defrosting them firs. I usually put them in the microwave for a minute then slice and toast. Is there a better way? I would love to know! Cali
  20. Hi- I quickly saw on a website somewhere that Hello Kitty (makeup,lip gloss, nail polish) products might be gluten free. I have been searching but can't find any info actually confirming this. Before I call the company, I thought I'd ask if anyone here knew the answer. I would love to give some nail polish to my 5 yr old for Christmas. She loves Hello...

  23. We give our kids (5 & 2 Yrs) Yummi Bears multivitamin and mineral (blue box). Kind of pricey but they say free of gluten on the box. Good Luck Cali
  24. I can see you've had lots of feedback, but I wanted to say gluten was ruining our family. Our daughter was turning our home upside down and we were so frustrated. She couldn't focus, was frustrated easily, cried constantly, etc. After her diagnosis of celiac and going gluten free she is back to our pleasant, happy, focused child. She is so much more reasonable...
