ARCHIVED Substitute For Eggs
Green12 replied to johnsoda2's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
Ener-G foods has an egg replacer product, you can find it in most health food stores and sometimes grocery stores that have a special food section (organic packaged products, natural packaged items, diet or allergy items). It comes in a box and these are the ingredients: Potato Starch, tapioca starch flour, leavening (calcium lactate [not derived from... -

What would we do without ziploc baggies?!?!?! This recipe freezes very well, I used Amy's Family Marinara Sauce for the sauce: Open Original Shared Link And this one, I used Tinkayada fettucini: Open Original Shared Link -
So true. This thread got me thinking about this charming little Gary Marshall movie that is a favorite of mine called Dear God. Greg Kinnear stars in it and his character leads this quirky group of postal employees in standing up against the establishment. They decide to answer the "Dear God" letters the post office receives, by the hundreds and...

Hi April, glad to see you back. That's good news you are tolerating the nattokinase and that the gall bladder pain has improved. I was thinking I had heard it was a soy source, I think Sherry mentioned that? And I don't know if that is more difficult for the liver to process or not? Good Not good that you are tired, but... -

That's a lot of foundation Jess I like Original Glo for dry skin (not that I have dry skin, I have more combination skin), but the other formulations dried me out. Donna!! I missed this about your eye. I am so sorry Hope it's better, but since you haven't been around I am worried that might not be the case.... Thanks Kassandra... -

Kassandra, my first few colonics were not very pleasant. They did get a little easier when I got the technique down, but I never was completely comfortable. They did take a lot out of me. I am sure it is different for everybody, but that was just my experiences. -

Mia, I have been using the Alba Botanica lotion too, for years now. I was so excited to find something of such high quality with no scent (or gluten ingredients) that I didn't react to. I am going to look for that shea butter, I am so dry from the baths. Thanks for mentioning it. Glad you are feeling a little better Carla... -

I didn't think Michael would win, but I really was surprised he went before Kristy, Syesha, and maybe even Carly or Brooke. I thought he would come in 4th or 5th. As it stands right now, I think it will probably be the two David's in the top 2, I'm not so sure what girl will be in there to round of the top 3. Kristy seems to be gaining momentum, Brooke... -
Thanks everyone for your feedback I wasn't sure what to do before I posted my question and then it became so clear after you all shared your perspectives and now it seems so obvious. I love when that happens Even though it's suppose to be a suprise it's too much of a risk to gamble with someone else's health. I will be using another mix...

Hi Patti, sorry you are experiencing this To answer your question, yes, scents can cause symptoms for those with multiple chemical sensitivities, or the overly sensitive. I am sure it varies from individual to individual, but I definitely have symptoms when I am exposed to strong overpowering synthetic smells, even some natural smells. I will... -

That could be a new worse.....worse than walking around all day reeking of raw garlic. I hope it goes well for you Rachel and that you are able to tolerate working up on it, and that it makes a difference! Hmmm, you might have to start a new fashion trend and wear flower leis around your neck to downplay the sulfur. -

So sorry you have a sick household Paula Glad you did better witht he foot pads last night. The bathball I have, that I got at Vitamin Cottage, is called Splish Splash natural bath from Enviro Products. It was around $35. You do have to buy a replacement filter doo dad that goes inside of it every 8-12 months, but that seems to be typical of... -

How are you feeling today Paula? That's really good news about the water situation, I hope it continues to improve. The foot detox patches are on my list of things to get too, I've had them bookmarked at Scott's site since you first mentioned them months and months ago Rachel, guess I haven't been in too much of a hurry to get them ... -

Andrea, how wonderful you guys are able to eat so much more! About the caesar salad dressing, if it was a classic or traditional dressing that was used it has anchovies in it so I don't know if that could be problematic for you guys. Hi Jin, was it you that mentioned cavitations? It seems like someone brought something up about cavitations just... -
I was just curious how strict everyone is when it comes to products that state "may contain traces of dairy"?? I am making a cake for someone who is both gluten-free and casein free and I usually use Pamela's Chocolate Cake Mix, but it does have this statement on the package so I am a little hesitant to use it.

I like a couple of the protein bar recipes from the first link, I'll have to modify some of the ingredients to a natural sugar like agave, but I think it will work. Thanks for posting The second link though, not good advice about trying spelt. Spelt is not safe for celiacs. -

I make huge batches of things, but I freeze them in single servings (or at the most 2 servings). That is shocking......and aweing (? ).... very hard to believe the bright orange would look "nice". It goes back to not judging a color by the way it looks in the jar, you never know what it's going to look like on. I guess I should be brave and finally try out B & B, but I think with that the high pigmentation is more of an issue than its color... -

Cheri I also tivod it, so I'll look for that family you are talking about Angie. I peeked in this thread to see who got kicked off, but I guess they didn't do it last night on the special? I noticed on the tv schedule there is an extra show this week on tonight for the elimination. Geesh, these two and three nights a week shows are killing... -
Thanks for posting. This is so heartbreaking. I hate to hear of anyone suffering, but when it's a child it's so hard to take. She will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I thought everyone did pretty well last night. It wasn't my favorite from David Cook, but even his average is pretty darn good. My favorite performances were Michael Johns and Jason Castro. I'm going to pull a Randy and say that everyone else "was just allright for me" They weren't bad, but they didn't blow me away either.
