  2. Also you should never take a pro-biotic at the same time you take an anti-biotic. the AB will just kill the PB. they should be taken at least two hours apart. also a general rule of thumb, take a PB for at least twice as long as the AB. ie Ten day cycle of an AB should reslut in a twenty days of a PB.
  3. hi all i just tried a new bread by the grainless baker and it is awsome. it is the regular sandwich type i and it just mybe the best i have ever had
  4. for the first few months i was gluten-free i put up with there products. i could not find anyone else making gluten-free stuffed shells or ravioli. then i found safe harbor foods and have never turned back. if i absoultly had to have ravioli and couldn't find anyone else i guess i would buy dietary specialties again.
  5. hi nancy i use kirkman labs DPP-IV Forte. it says the activity is 60,000 HUT. i saw glutenease at the store the other day, when i run out of what i have i was going to try it.

  7. if im not to late 5-Hydroxytryptophan is a "natural" SSRI, and from what i understand it is not effective unless enteric coated. I was also told although B6 is usefull it should be taken at a differnet time then 5-HTP
  8. like jkmunchkin i was also not planing to join this topic...that said here i go. Please do not YELL at me as I am NOT writing this as FACT . It is only a guess that I have because of a product I already take everytime i go out to eat. I take the enzyme DPP-IV and it is wonderful for ME when i get CC at restaurants. My guess is that the research is based...

  14. a company call natural balance has had the same thing on the market for at least seven years, at it taste exactly like butter.
  15. muir glen and bio nature are both gluten-free and readily available.
  16. my natural foods store has a very large selection of gluten-free products and has never had a problem ording anything that i have asked for. i travel a few months out of the year for business and often have them ship things to me. i would recomend finding the "mom and pop" store near you, in my opnion they are more accommodating. good luck
  17. i buy the frozen bread stick and cut them in strips for my pigs in a blanket. they always turn out great.
  18. my favorite is the really great food company's mix
  19. the only gluten-free pasta that i have found that makes that kind of cut in america is bio glut (also form Italy). they call it ditallini (spelling may not be corect). i don't usually buy this cut but the Penne, Spirals, and Spaghetti are the best i have ever had. check you local heath food store, thats where i buy mine. good luck
  20. im no expert but from i remember they are both derived from either animals ( cow or pig) or vegetables, not grains. Maybe somone can verify that. good luck
  21. i was told that all Applegate Frams products are gluten-free. I have many...many products from them with out any problems
  22. Erewhon makes three cereals, arrow head mills aslo makes a puffed rice. the best i have tasted is natures path, the make seveal cereals that are gluten-free and the two puffed rice ones were very good.
  23. Marcia, what i was trying to say is that my local store is able to accommadate any dietary issue i or my family has (including my wifes sugar issues). and that maybe a store near you can do the same. good luck
