  1. Yes--but you can't send an attachment through there. I can send writing, but not attachments...such as the list. If you'd prefer that I e-mail you first, I can do that
  2. I live in NYC with maybe 15 options for dining out gluten-free (not including chains) and I've only eaten out at two of those. The first was Risotteria--FABULOUS--the gluten-free jewel of Manhattan that I would recommend to any of you who visit. So I had high expectations going to Sambuca (oh, and I went with an e-mail pal from the board--Kristina-...
  3. Ha...that's kind of funny, but in a twisted way
  4. Sure...just get me your e-mail address (through a post, personal message, or e-mail) --we can't post attachments on here.
  5. I can't name more than maybe twenty males that post here... As Kaiti said, it's a mostly female board.

    ARCHIVED Grrrr....

I know... and I dreamt of eating chocolate cake, which I don't like--rather than something I do. Maybe that's what makes it more of a nightmare--gluten AND something you never liked in the first place.
  7. no I responded to your other topic.
  8. I'm male... (one of the few)

    ARCHIVED Sports Drinks

Yep. Oh, I don't know about the powdery stuff, but Gatorade, Powerade, Propel are gluten-free--all flavors.
  10. Lol . Hi Melly, Welcome to the board... I'm 14... and was diagnosed a year and a half ago. Read the board and you'll probably find everything you've wanted to know--and a lot that you didn't --about celiac. Ummm...oh yeah, there's lots of junk food we can have--gluten-free doesn't mean junk free. And I have lists to back it up. Well, I have lists...
  11. Oh, I thought that one was humble opinion....
  12. BTW = by the way ROFL = rolling on the floor laughing w/ = with (and w/o is without) any others that we use a lot here?
  13. DUPLICATE POST. DO NOT REPLY HERE. THIS THREAD WILL BE DELETED
  14. I got your e-mail...I'm so sorry. We're thinking of you
  15. Yes...I anticipated I would get that question
  16. When in doubt, check the forbidden list: https://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodi...-46105547579.c5 or the safe list: https://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodi...-46105547579.c5 and if you are searching for something, do ctrl and f, pulling up a "find" box. Then you can type in the word you're looking for and if you're not sure of the spelling...
  17. Yeah, who knows? Either way, I wouldn't take those...
  18. lol , one sentence turned this from a crest topic to a sex, condoms, and lubricants topic...anyone want to start a new thread on that?
  19. Yea...I also ask if the product contains gluten (which is in wheat, rye, barley, and oats), but the response usually eliminates the oats.
  20. Check the labels because they may inject broths or the like into the meat. But that must be clearly labeled. The gluten that such animals eat will not be in the meat and we do not need to worry about that.
  21. I thought they just plain WEREN'T gluten-free...dunno what the status is now, but I think they told me a few months ago that they actually contain gluten--not even a cya statement about how it may or may not.
  22. Yeah...it's true that there's no nutritional value or any health value to drinking soda...but it's just one of those things that the current world has embraced. There's a minimal value to eating cookies (gluten-free or not), cakes, etc., but we eat them just because they're...well, typical of our society and because we have come to like the taste. If...
  23. I think they often don't, now, since oats aren't techincally an issue. Most replies I get now do not contain anything about oats. I don't think oats are really used very often in products, though--at least in stuff like natural flavors, etc. I trust that something's gluten-free if they tell me no wheat, rye, barley (within reason, of course: I wouldn't...
