  1. Oh, right! Celiac or not, you'd definitely want to wash your hands a lot
  2. Yea...true. I did that even before diagnosis, though. I thought maybe my immune system was terrible, so I'd wash my hands all the time to try to avoid getting sick.
  3. I think they do, but I personally don't have any additional dietary restrictions, allergies, or intolerances.
  4. It's reliable, but doesn't have as much in it as the 79 page, equally reliable, free delphi list. It's a good list, though...just doesn't have that much in it...
  5. Sure--I sent you his contact info. with a "review" I did for another group on him
  6. I, too, eat foods produced in a wheat-producing facility. There are just a few exceptions, companies I won't trust, one of them being Quaker. I think you select certain companies that you trust and don't....
  7. In any processed food, there's potential for contamination, but I think with most of the companies you don't need to worry too much about it. However, this leads me to one important point, which is that if it makes you sick repeatedly, even if it claims to be gluten-free, don't eat it. Umm...if you see a product that is gluten-free from the ingredients...
  8. Oops...I guess I posted a bit late! I didn't see the 8th page
  9. Open Original Shared Link The above is the website for Kinnikinnick...they sell breads and other gluten-free products online.
  10. Wow...making progress
  11. Okay. First, here's a link to where you can get safe and forbidden ingredient lists. Although the forbidden grains are only rye, barley, and wheat, they are many derivitives you need to be careful of. And, if you scroll to the bottom of the forbidden list, they give you a list of questionable ingredients. Gluten can be hidden under such ingredients as...
  12. Delphi Forums put out their product list just recently. For those who are members, check it out--you can download the 60 page sort of master list or download a zip with individual product lists (like, medications, snacks, dairy, condiments, vitamins, desserts, etc.). For those who aren't members, but want the list, I have both downloaded, so just e-mail...

  14. Yeah, lol. Please enlighten me
  15. Yes--I wouldn't want to put my trust in someone who doesn't know too much about celiac disease unless I had to. I've had those types of celiac disease nightmares.....one about eating in a dark, dreary restaurant I had never been to. They told me a chocolate cake was gluten-free and, knowing it wasn't, I ate it--I couldn't stop myself. Then I got scared...
  16. LOL Karen about the bathroom...and imsohungry--both are really good--I like the one about gas prices
  17. Yea...all these comments are with the presumption that you live in the US
  18. At least it's gluten-free ...and maybe just try going to another doctor for it if your current one isn't willing to look for what might be causing these symptoms.
  19. Awww, thank you! I'm 21 years to young, though. celiac3270/Kaiti 2028... ha...no discprepancy over what party, anyway
  20. Moving on, did you get that from Delphi or elsewhere? If you found it on a different website, then I'll see when Delphi confirmed it if they did.....you know Sorry about that, Karen.....sounds painful Hey, speaking of which, I couldn't find a good emoction for pain.....we should get a smilie on pain--with how often we go through it lol.....
  21. Oh, okay, thanks. Sorry if it sounded nosy or something--it just sort of gives meaning to a weight... I'm now 5'4", 97 pounds due to a multi-inch, double-digit pound gain since Feb. of this year.
  22. My Dr. is also amazing--he's in the Celiac Disease Program at Columbia...highly recommended, but I'm trying to keep this brief, since I'm postin gin a central california topic and he's on the other side of the states
  23. Kraft clearly lists gluten. And their marshmallows are gluten-free. Not all are, however.
  24. Kaiti, how tall are you?
