  1. Yep... I am temporarily "coming out of my shell." Open Original Shared Link
  2. I would be very surprised if such a restriction were imposed. To go step by step again and try to help you find it: - Click on "My Controls" (to the left of view new posts). - Click on "Edit Profile Information" (in the list on the left). - Scroll down below the required information. - Under the heading "personal profile" the FIRST box should say ...
  3. I've never seen any gold emblems on CVS products. I have, however, seen "This product is free from gluten" on some of the CVS vitamins and supplements; no sticker, but it's written on the label.
  4. You said member poll, so I guess I'll weigh in on the opposite side. I don't really abstain from any other foods; this diet is restrictive enough for me. I was tested for other allergies in the blood panel that also found my celiac, and I don't have any allergies to any foods I currently include in my diet. I am relatively cautious about dairy, but I don...
  5. Don't take it back yet! Ask if text files (notepad) will work. The list is in that format, which is highly simplified. A word file won't work on anything except for one of those pocket PCs that have the office suite. I can send you the link to get it in text format if that is compatible (which it probably should be).
  6. I have not personally, but someone else mentioned that they use spelt in their supposedly "gluten-free" pizza crust.
  7. Sent through here now. LOL, thank you Beverly! This is the same list, still. I've been checking; they're a bit behind because normally they would've updated it once or twice more. But for now the list is the same one I [assume] I sent you (I can't really remember anymore). If you send it to anyone, just post a "sent" post so I don't send it numerous...
  8. I e-mailed my reps.
  9. It's a 79-page list of gluten-free foods updated by the members of a board hosted by Delphiforums.com (under the health and wellness section go to the first celiac forum you see). I'll send it to you, though.
  10. I do that! And I'll send the list to you, NiqueP
  11. It's mainly that my SCHOOL wouldn't let me off from school--I'll undoubtedly have many tests and they wouldn't consider it a legitimate excuse. People are rarely absent and you can only miss school for a school-related issue (i.e. debate team leaving early for an away tournament).
  12. Mother's side: Swedish, Swiss Father's side: Irish, English, Scottish.
  13. In US/Canada it's usually "celiac." In Europe/Australia/etc. it is usually "coeliac."
  14. If anyone goes, tell me about it. It's basically the biggest conference that exists... takes place around the world... Ireland last year.
  15. For the more processed stuff... Skippy, Jif, Reese's, Smuckers pb are all gluten-free.

Very likely spyware. I add my recommendation that you get Spybot or Ad-Aware that Vincent suggested.... I run both religiously and have never had any issues with them.
  17. Thank you, thank you! I had also been slacking tremendously. I actually didn't reply to a few posts because I couldn't afford the 60 second wait .... I understand the purpose for it, but fortunately we haven't been victim to more than the occasional ad.
  18. I heard about it last year and got the notice in the mail a few weeks ago. In my own city--and it starts on a Thursday... and I'm in school for 2 of the 3 days. I'm crushed.
  19. Lol... I don't think it does. Lipids are like... fats--and flour does not contain fats. And yet, lipids on their own make no sense; I'll PM Scott about that.
