    I've never cooked avocado. It's a very good "fruit" to eat. People usually think of it as a vegetable.     You don't need cows milk. I do and would like to get back to some cow products, mainly butter. Do you realize that we are the only "creatures" that still drink milk after being weaned?     It sounds like he had a reaction to the soy. My husband had a lot of gas with soy as well and we just found out he is intolerant through enterolab. Soy can cause just as much intestinal problems as gluten from what I've read. It is also a cummalative allergen and similar to peanuts. From the same family.     How long have you been vegetarian. Are you totally against eating meat? Do you eat eggs? My family just left off the vegan diet as between us we are allergic to gluten, soy and some beans. Need to try a few others and see how that goes.

    My understanding is that gluten sensitive and gluten intolerant are the same thing and that it still means no gluten ever.

    You didn't say what brand. I have a bosch universal that I bought new. It includes an awesome blender. Very expensive though and don't know if there are any refurbished of those.

    If it is gluten free it doesn't have any wheat. Something can be wheat free but not neccesarily gluten free.

    Chelsea, That does sound good. I came up positive for dairy allergy (IgE/IgG) done in March but not sensitive/intolerant according to enterolab. Hadn't eaten much dairy over the last 3 years as I was vegan but hoping to go back to it since I don't have the IgA antibodies.
