  1. a lot of what you said went over my head ( bit dull here) but i di agree with you that suger is def addictive, and is bad for you ( not in moderation). had no idea about the absorbtion from the sugers with the vits , gees thats frightening! glad you made me aware of it tho. i guess im a suger junckie. marzipan , MMMMMM. will try to cut down.
  2. dont really know about this one hunny, but it ouldnt supprise me if gluten was the culprit. welcome to the board! you will find the answer here as there are lots of knoweladgable people here who know an awfull lot about gluten related things. good luck!!!
  3. i aht it too. jusr ride the wave i guess, sorry, it will pass. at least you know now that you def cant have chicken fried rice. sorry hope you fel better soon. oh i nearly forgot, drink green tea, it helps me when i get ill, i think its cos its an antioxitant, it helps flush bad toxins out of your body.

  5. dont know if it gluten-free but i stay away from it as it tends to upset my tummy.
  6. this something of interest to me as im the only celiac in the house and hubby eats a lot of MY food. did wonder if it was doing him any harm.
  7. too much too quick, build up slowly, you wouldnt run a marathon without training for it before hand and its the same thing. dont worry you be back boarding again and partying soon.

  9. in the doctors serach to find out what is wrong with me( blood posotive and diet posotive) they booked scan which i had today and suprise suprise they found nothing! one doctor said he thought i had a PID and he booked a scan for me, idiot! had an internal scan as well and they couldnt find anything wrong. got my endoscopy appoitment tommororw so i guess...

    ok, had this 10k run comeing up and knew i wanted to do it but the way ive been feeling? anemia and fatigue and my own feelings of i cant do it and the celiac takeing hold, anyway the run was today and i did really well ( well i think i did), i did it in 52 mins02 seconds. im chuffed! after going through a lot this year i thought F*** it im going for it....

  15. i secong that one. i too have new balance and they are good, nike are ok but forget reebok and addidas, up to you of course as everyone is different but my opinion they not so good, i have a wide foot and none of the others give me enough width.

  18. ive tried a shed load of iron and i just cant tolerate any, my sister who is also anemic has a different reaction, she gets buzzed! honestly it makes her go loopy, its like shes taken grugs! my mum cant tolerate it iether. its interesting what you said about the wine and choc cos im really craveing choc at mo but cos im milk intolerant its been difficult...
  19. wow this is helpful, i eat the pumkin seeds loads of them,lentils,flax seed,cashews and tomatoes. im doing something right but its not enough obviously as im still enemic. i think im gonna have to wait a little while longer for the viiai to heal so the iron can be absorbed properly. oh and carry on with the spinach. thanx i will deffinatly look...
  20. thankyou for not judgeing me harshly, the green monster has a big hold of me i think and i hate that. thanx also for the advice, i have to let you know tho that the accident wasnt serious i was back running 2 weeks after but it hit me mentally rather than phisically. i will try to get a hold of this and work through the emeoinal stuff and work on my diet...

  22. i use to but every time i try to take it up again i get very bad constapation, really bad!!! and mt tummy is swollen and feel really unwell. ive taken floridix in the past but tht made me ill too. i allways have vit c and take it with my calcium. thanx , can you reccomend any other iron supplement or iron rich food? be really helpfull. ive heard something...

  24. me to leah, i eat sprouts ( yuk- forced) and love peas but not sure if they are any good on the iron score anyway. what is arugula? never heard of that one before.
