  1. Oh yes, yes, I've been missing Oreo's ------Haven't had a cookie of any kind in over 2 years !! So I will definitly check them out !
  2. My Publix carries more gluten free items than a local health food store----- it is WONDERFUL to be able to walk into a regular grocery store and find all the gluten free items I use. I just recently discovered Udi's bread and I really like it. And Publix has it in the freezer section along with Udi's bagels, and other items. I am a Happy Camper now...
  3. I am so excited to see that Publix grocery is now stocking many gluten free items. I see they have some Kinninick ( sp ?? ) hot dog buns. I am wanting to try Udi's hot dog buns, but have not seen them yet. Are the Kinninick hot dog buns good ?

  5. I make pumpkin muffins with Bob Red Mill all purpose baking flour and I use lots of cinnamon in them. I think they taste good --- no bean taste to me.
  6. I have not posted here in a while --- been busy with life Anyway--- to my great surprise my grocery store had Against the Grain Pizza crusts on sale --- I had never seen that product there before ---- I bought some and they are in my freezer. Since my attempts at making my own pizza crusts were pitiful and I don't like the frozen ones I have...
  7. Just google rotation diet and you will get lots of info about it. It's too complicated to explain in a few words. The idea is NOT to eat the same food for at least three days, then you can repeat it. ----- or something like that===== I tried it, but it was too tedious for me.
  8. My daughter-in-law just had surgery last month for the same thing---- She came thru the surgery fine----- And the tumor was benign just as they suspected. Amazing how resiliant the human body is ---- and there is awesome medical technology and skill these days. Will be praying for your brother.
  9. Ha ! Ha ! You must be from the North----- most Southerners know what cat head biscuits are--- That means they are LARGE bicuits ( hand rolled) ---- not the small perfect biscuit "cutter" biscuits-- And by the way, they are delicious ! !
  10. I have been craving biscuits --- So I bought some Bob's Red Mill biscuit mix---- all you have to add is the shortening and milk---- I skipped the roll out and cut with biscuit cutter steps---- And I just slightly kneaded the dough--- pinched off the biscuits, rolled them in my hand, then flattened them, and baked---- And I actually thought...
  11. Won't do any good to "flush the system ". Your candy bar has long ago been absorbed into your body.
  12. Antidepressants can help a lot------- Many people who are anxious and depressed do not want to take "drugs"--- so they struggle along for years on the roller coaster of depression, anxiety, and some days feeling almost " normal " but most always "worried" and "anxious" about themselves or any and everything. Tell your doctor how you feel------- medication...

A diet with "lots of soy" is not a healthy diet. In fact, " lots of " anything tends to make us sick. We need variety and MODERATION in our diets---- mostly vegs and lean protein (not from soy). My two cents worth.
  19. I RARELY eat out--- and when I do, I don't enjoy it---- I'm not a big fan of plain meat and vegetables.
  20. Well let me tell you about my sleeping pill experience. I don't take sleeping meds. I was in the hospital 4 years ago to check out my chest pain. Anyway, the first night they gave me a sleeping pill because I was pretty anxious. They were drawing blood samples every 6 hours for 24 hrs to check my cardiac enzymes. When I went to sleep. I slept...

  22. Here's how I see the Sex problem in a nutshell: Most normal, healthy men want more sex, more often, and their sex drive is active til the day they die. Women are more interested in their children, their homes, hobbies, crafts,---- And yes, they love their husbands ---- BUT--------- Sex ???-------------- not so much.
  23. As for "calming tricks" you really won't need any. THey will sedate you so much you won't even realize you're having a biopsy---
