  7. hamburger patties with mustard and mayo. I got organic hamburger meat (on sale) ground turkey (not organic, but on sale) and mixed them together with some garlic, salt, pepper, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Molded the meat into patties between parchment paper and stuck them in the freezer. They separate nicely and you can do a quick meal with them...
  8. I'm co-oping with some friends who want fresh eggs but can't have chickens. We're splitting costs and labor to expand my flock, and they'll pay me the equivalent of $4 per dozen, mostly by buying food. Can you find a friend with some land to expand?

  13. I did try to specifically address his questions and he ignored my posts entirely in favor of other posts that he could argue with. I don't know what he was looking for from this forum, but I don't think it was anything we could provide.

  17. Came home from BE's house, spent the morning planting things, realized I left something at his house (my quinoa salad - he'd never eat it) so went back. Spent a couple hours helping him weedwack his lawn, came home to discover that the chickens have totally rearranged everything I planted (digging) and ate my pea starts. I'm not terribly concerned...

  22. Give it a good six weeks. This gives you two weeks to figure it out, and four weeks really gluten-free. I wouldn't recommend starting out buying gluten-free substitutes - stick with meats and veggies for a while.
