My First Cold As A Celiac

So I think I am coming down with my first cold/flu as a celiac. Is there anything different I should know? Will this take longer to heal from? Is it particularly dangerous for us since we have a lowered immune system?

I found that whenever i caught a cold, it pretty much ended up going away far quicker than normal.

Thanks!

This source says that your immune system is not affected by Celiacs and in fact it may be stronger because of it.

I used to get two colds a year pre dx. Have not had a cold now for two years (dx three years ago)! Hope the same for you, too.

And with your celiac in mind, you are much more likely to wash your hands more often which means you won't get as many colds. :)

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
